The sound of the car door closing outside made you jump and in excitement, you rushed out of the bedroom and down the stairs.

You're all dressed up and ready for your night out with Rosie.

You've been looking forward to it for the last couple of weeks and the evening has finally come!

The front door opened a couple of seconds later and your girlfriend walked inside, though she didn't look as happy as you thought she would.

She was dragging her feet and her eyes looked heavy. She must be exhausted, which you totally understand.

If that was the case, if she wanted to get a little rest before you go out, you would be perfectly okay with that.

But before you could say a word to her, the girls all followed inside.

None of them had noticed you yet.

Rosie was kicking her shoes off by the door and letting her long hair down from the ponytail she'd had it tied up in for the day spent in the studio and the girls were all talking and joking around together.

But when they did notice you, they all went wide-eyed.

Well... Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo did.

Your girlfriend, however, rolled her eyes.

"What are you doing?"

Your heart sank a little. You could hear the annoyance in her voice right away.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, why are you all dressed up? We're not going anywhere tonight."

Well, that was news to you.

"I thought we were."

"I'm too tired, y/n." She mumbled and made her way to the sofa, where she plopped down with a heavy sigh.

You hung your head in disappointment and the girls quickly noticed.

"You look beautiful, y/n." Jisoo smiled. "Right, Rosie? Doesn't she look stunning? You're so lucky."

Jisoo's words made you feel much better and you found yourself smiling from ear to ear with happiness.

"Whatever."

You weren't as disappointed or as sad as you once felt. Now, you just feel frustrated.

"Whatever? Rosé, why are you acting like this?" You asked.

"Acting like what?" She asked as she tangled her fingers in her long blonde hair.

"This! The way you're acting right now. I'm only dressed up because we're supposed to go out together! We've had this night planned for weeks."

"Okay, well, sorry. I can't go."

"Sorry? You don't seem sorry. You seem upset and I don't know why, considering I did nothing to you."

She scoffed and stood up and the girls watched you two begin to argue like they've never seen before.

"I'm just not in a good mood right now. I had a bad day!"

"Fine! But don't take it out on me!"

"I wouldn't have to if you weren't so annoying!" She said before a frustrated groan fell from her lips. "As soon as I walk through the door, you're standing there. I walk over here to sit down and catch my breath after the stressful day I had and you follow me over here. You're getting on my nerves!"

"Rosie, calm down." Jennie frowned.

"Then tell my girlfriend to stop being so annoying!"

"Annoying? That's what I am? For the record - I ran down here to greet you at the door because I'm excited and I got all dressed up tonight because I was finally getting to go out with you, which is all I want. I just want to spend time with you."

"Well, the feeling isn't mutual!" She yelled. "I don't want to spend time with you. I want you to leave me alone. I want some space!"

You and the girls stood there, staring at her in disbelief.

She's never once acted this way towards you and she's never spoken to you like this.

It hurt.

You couldn't even try and stop the tears from welling up in your eyes.

You're always so worried that you might annoy people or that people might not want to be around you, so to hear her say such things broke you.

Not to mention, this is your girlfriend. You love her more than anything in the world. You were heartbroken to hear her speak to you this way. It crushed you.

"You mean that?" You sniffled. "I just miss you. All I want is to be with you. You're always so busy and I thought that tonight was our night to spend together. I've been so excited about it. But... I guess I'm the only one that feels that way."

Seeing you cry made it all sink in for Rose.

She realized then just how much she hurt your feelings. The weight of her words began to crush her too. She couldn't believe such things had fallen from her lips.

"I didn't mean it." She spoke. "I'm sorry, baby."

"I don't want to hear it." You said and backed up as she tried to come closer. "You want space, so I'll give it to you."

You made your way back up the stairs as she called out for you.

"I can't believe you said those things to her, Rosie," Lisa spoke in disappointment.

"That was awful of you," Jisoo said and Rosie nodded her head, knowing her friends were right.

"I have to make this better." Rose sighed.

"You better," Jennie said before she and the girls walked out the door, letting her sit in silence and think about how she'd made you feel and how she was going to make things right.
