Dominiques Pov
"Hello?" 
"It's Dom Laur, i got ur new number. I um thought I'd ring it now to save it". I told her
"Nope! I know u did not call me at 3:33 am! Just to tell me u wanted to test out my new number. Dominique so help me god u better spit out what u want to say before i get my ass over there and get it out of u myself!" Jesus. I knew Laura wasn't a morning person but that was just dramatic. Just say what u have to say Dominique. 
"Do u like Katherine? Cause i already know u do I'm smart u know really really smart so i can see that u quite obviously do. So i just want some confirmation cause my student dating my best friend is a little awkward." I anxiously waited for Lauras response but all i got in return was a frustrated groan. "I'll be there in 10 minutes. You better explain." And with that she ended the call. I was shocked sitting up in bed with my phone still in my hand. What the hell was I supposed to say now I could barely ask that on the phone! Before i got to think of something i heard keys jingle and my front door open. Crap!  
"Dom!" I didn't move but i heard running up the stairs. Laura walked in and flung herself onto my bed. "Spit it out Domie" she sighed out. 
"Why would u even care if i liked Kat?" She asked curiously. The thought of Kathrine with anyone other than me already makes me want to puke, but with my best friend? That I can't handle. A gasp pulled me out of my thoughts. Laurs eyes were widened with her mouth wide open and an accusing finger pointing at me. "OMG U LIKE HER!!!" She shouted and started to repeatedly hit my arm 
"Ow jeeze stop it! I don't like her...its more of a crush if anything." I mumbled the last part out. "What- well that explains a lot! Y didn't u tell me? Wait she's ur student that really can't happen. Oh shit no that's fine she's 19 she's an adult in school its just frowned upon ur good." Wait a minute. 
"Y- you don't like Katherine?" I watched her look at me grossed out. "No! I mean she's hot thats undeniable. But i don't like Kat." She smirked at me. "No she's all urs hun don't worry." 
I rolled my eyes and laid down. Laura moved to lay next to me. "Come on Dom don't worry. Like u said its just a crush right?". I nodded 
"Right... just a crush."

"WAKE UP!!!" I groaned and shoved the arms that were shaking me off.  "Go away it's Sunday, I sleep on Sundays." I grumbled.
"Stop being lazy we're going out." She took the cover off of me and started to drag me off the bed. "I hate u" i said from my spot on the floor. I sighed as i watched Laura make her way into the shower. "This was supposed to be my day off" i whined. 
"Ok! we're going to this new café that opened up near the club we went to. Apparently they have some good food and even better coffee." I nodded my head and made a move to grab my car keys but was stopped by a hand grabbing my arm. "We're walking, its not too far and it'll do us some good." 
"Ur right freezing our butts off will definitely do us some good." I said sarcastically. Laura ignored me though and started pulling me towards the direction of my front door. After about ten minutes we got into town. It was filled with teens joking around with their friends and couples holding hands giggling at inside jokes nobody else could understand. "There!" I heard Laura shout while pointing in a direction of a long alleyway. "Its a bit of a walk, the café is at the very end." She started to pull me forward to cross the street and down the alleyway. We were halfway up the alleyway when we heard running and shouting coming towards us. We stopped talking and watched a woman tackle a man. They looked to be in their twenties. They were both dressed in black, wearing what i would call a ninja warrior looking costume but it was a lot more sophisticated. The guy quickly got her off of him and started to run in our direction. The woman grabbed the sword from behind her and aimed for the man. The guy saw it coming though and luckily ducked right on time. I however wasn't so lucky. The sword plunged into my stomach and i immediately heard Laura scream. I looked up to see the woman look frustrated and run to me. She pulled the sword from out of my stomach and i let out a cry, the pain making itself known now. Laura had caught me in her arms when i had started to feel faint and was unsteady on my feet. I could see clear enough to see the woman who had stabbed me start to run off after the guy. 
What is it with me and alleyways...What a problematic week. 
"It'll be ok domie" I heard Laura repeat for the fifth time now. "I know it hurts but u'll be ok, just look at me and breath Dom!" I was on the ground now with Laura holding me from behind. She was trying to get her phone out to call an ambulance. The pain was becoming unbearable at this point, I let out a groan and let my head fall back onto Lauras left shoulder. I now had a view of the alleyway from behind us and all of a sudden saw a figure come running towards us. No? Speed towards us. How are they so fast? I don't understand. I lifted me head and watched Lauras phone fall out of her hand. Next thing I know I felt like i was being pulled upwards and lifted onto a pair of cold arms. God how can a person be this cold.  I turned my head to see the person who had picked me up only to be met with blood red eyes. "Woah." That persons red eyes being the last thing I see before passing out.
