CHAPTER TWO
Gazing at the scenery outside the full-length window, Chen Li Sha remained still. Nobody told her they would be going to the suburbs.
After roughly seven hours of sitting in the plane and gaining a sore ass, they finally arrived but she might as well go back if she could. She had never been in an airport that was situated in something like a ghost town. Despite the modern facilities around her, the view appeared like they were in a valley with only fields in the area.
They said it was a province in the Philippines named Iloilo. It even had a nickname of the City of Love but Chen Li Sha could not grasp where the love was in such an empty dull place.
"Hey, are you going to stand there forever?"
That annoying voice sounded beside her. Chen Li Sha's eyes narrowed on Guo Feng's face.
"Stay away from me, you dog fart," she warned before grabbing her luggage and walking past him.
She could never understand why they never got separated since they were just kids sent to Mythos. From training classes to department tasks, and even now. Right when she volunteered, this guy did too. It was like he could never live a day without pestering her.
She glanced at the other two men who were with her. China has the least members among all branches of Mythos so an unfamiliar face could be identified right away. Not to mention, at some point, everyone had been grouped with one another.
Zhu Mu Yang was handling their papers while talking to the staff. After all, aside from being the captain, he has the friendliest face among them. His hooded eyes made him approachable and has a smile that could make anyone tell their life story to him without even getting drunk.
His personality suited his name so much that no one would think he was the child of Xue Shen, the snow god.
Furthermore, with Liu Hui beside him, the contrast was striking. Even the female staff did not dare peek at the other guy despite how handsome he was or else she might be accused of snatching the cradle with how young he looked. Any stranger would think he just entered high school.
By the time they exited, many people were at the entrance going to and fro. Zhu Mu Yang was already on his phone, dialing the person who would fetch them when someone approached their group.
"Um... Hello? Are you a celebrity?" A teenage girl mumbled almost incoherently. There was a quivering smile on her lips but a bright glint reflected on her eyes.
"No," Chen Li Sha replied.
"Oh, okay, sorry!" She ran off right away and went back to the people with her. Chen Li Sha focused on them. Her senses heightened as she tried to listen to their conversation.
"Grabe kahuluya 'ya!" (That was so embarassing!)
Warmth spread on her wrist as the teenager's words were instantly translated into Chen Li Sha's mind. The Litiera on her hand had a faint, unnoticeable glow under daylight.
The bracelet was given to all members of Mythos who were sent to the Philippines. It was a prized device made by the power of the God of Wisdom. It could translate all languages to the user and could even give a signal to the owner if this was the first time they encountered such language just like how it was doing seconds ago.
With over a hundred languages in the country, there was nothing more useful than this device when all the branch representatives were sent to all different parts of the Philippines.
"What are you grinning for?" Guo Feng nudged her. "Do you really believe that you're some celebrity?"
She glowered. "Can't you just shut up for a second?"
