Hu Tao's Pov :
"Hu, I think I'm in love with you."
I dropped my bad on the floor, did I perhaps mishear what she just said ? I looked at her, she lowered her head which was red. I heard very well what she said and I knew how honest she was but I felt wrong. Maybe she meant it as a friend. No, it was sure, how could she like someone like me ? 
Or even if she "loved me", I'm sure she said that to play with me. I mean, even if she didn't like it, she still had loose someone who gave her attention - in a weird way - and touched her. Now maybe she wanted to replace that Ningguang by me, thinking I was easy to please. I sighed.
"Are you done ? If you want someone to have your way with, just say so. Don't try to play with me." 
She looked at me and furrowed her eyebrows, then she went right next to me and pushed me on the wall. Her eyes were locked with mines and they gave me chills.
"Hu, when I said that, I meant it, really."
We glared at each other for a bit and she sighed as I turned my head to the side, feeling uneasy. She left my appartement soon after that and I sat on the couch.
Yanfei's Pov :
"Ugh, I can't believe she was like that, just what did I do to deserve that ?"
I was about to text Keqing about what happened when I recieved a text, from Hu Tao. 
"I'm sorry about that. Could you let me some time to think about it ?"
I smiled, she wasn't mad at me then, I almost thought she was mad since the other night. But I guessed it was something else.
About one week later, Hu Tao went to my place, we exchanged a few texts and she told me if she could come. I welcomed her and she sat on the couch, I gave her a glass of water and sat next to her - with a big space in case she was uncomfortable with me. I looked at her, waiting her words. Our eyes met, we gazed at each other for a while, time passed and she was still quiet. I was about to speak but she didn't let me.
"Let's try to be together."
My eyes widened as my brain tried to process her words. She was blushing, I grinned and hugged her tightly. She hugged me back after a bit. 
Later in the evening, I asked the director about her ex from last time. She choked with her water and looked at me, with surprise on her face.
"I guess I don't have to hide it anymore." She paused "You know, back then in high school I had a big crush on you." 
She laughed at my surprised face and patted my head. 
"So, when you left I kinda.. dated a bunch of other people to forget you, and the last one was her. She was the only one who truly liked me." She paused again and sighed "But well, she was a real psycho, she followed me everywhere and got jealous for everything I did so I broke up with her." 
She went to the kitchen and got more water. When she came back, she sat just next to me and put her head on my shoulder. 
"And now I don't trust people easily when it comes to love. That's why I got angry when you told me, well y'know.."
I chuckled.
"That's okay Hu, now you trust me, that's all I need."
I kissed her on the cheek and smiled while she blushed.
Hu Tao's Pov : 
We've been dating for two weeks now, as the days passed, my feelings grew more and more, now I was sure I loved her. And she showed me how she cherished me. I felt truly happy with Yanfei, it's been such a long time since I felt this way. Dating was incredible.
I smiled and kissed Yanfei on the lips.
"Yanyan, I love you."

A/n : soo, here's the end, I know it's kind of rushed but I don't have any ideas now. So, there'll be one or two bonus chapters : the start of the relationship between Yanfei and Ningguang and Hu Tao's life after high school (not quite sure about the second one). Aaand, a smut chapter in another smut book because I said so 😎
