All of them rode a bus back to Manila. When they arrived at their condo, Jillian went straight to her room and took a nap, Aika went to the kitchen to wash her hands in the sink and asked their helper to bring coffee for her mom and Trisha.

After a few minutes, they finished their coffee and the helper had already set up the table for breakfast. Trisha woke Jillian up to have breakfast.

They were in the middle of the meal when Trisha asked again the same question she asked when they were in Naga.

"Ma, it seems like nakalimutan mo na?"

"Ang alin Trisha?" Leni responded.

"Yung tanong ko the other night, if you were considering to run for a higher position this coming elections?"

Aika saw how it the question tensed up their mom just like in the restaurant and quickly joined in the conversation to prevent any suspicion on their mom.

"Patty, kumakain, pwede bang ibang topic na lang?"

"Ate what's wrong ba with the question?" Trisha asked.

"Wala naman. It's just Mama looks uncomfortable with the topic." Aika replied.

"It's just a question lang naman At--" Trisha aas halted by their Mom which shookt the three of them.

"Enough!" Leni told with an irritated voice.

"Mam--" Aika said but Leni was now at a limit.

"Jessica Marie, I am talking. Hoooo. Okay, at some point kailangan rin nila malaman." Aika just stopped in hopes that her Mom would calm down a bit.

"Ang alin po Mama?" Jillian joined in as well.

"Okay, before I tell you this. I want all of you to be calmed. Please don't speak muna hanggang di pa ako tapos." Leni looked at her daughters with an anxious look.

The three just nodded and signaled their mom to go on and they were eager to listen.

"Okay. Sorry if ngayon ko lang sasabihin 'to sainyo, but recently, Sec. Roxas had asked me if I would be his running mate as his VP for the elections..."

Trisha and Jillian's eyes had widened which made Leni more nervous.

"I know that I've promised you that this will be the only time that I would be running or being a politician. But please try to understand that I want to help our country and coninue your Papa's legacy." Leni said as if she's asking for her daughters approval.

The three of them just looked at each other with disappointment but they knew that it was what would their father would've wanted.

"Ma..." Aika said.

"We know that this what Papa would have wanted. And we may not agree with you but we will support you if 'yan talaga gusto mo." she continued.

"Yes, Mama. And don't worry, di kami magtatampo, you will be a great VP." Trisha said.

Jillian just hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Leni then started to tear up and felt relieved that her daughters weren't against her decision.

She filed her Certificate of Candidacy with her daughters tagging along. Secretary Mar Roxas was overjoyed that Leni decided to accept his proposal. Now she is officially a candidate for the position of the 2nd highest position in the land. Future Vice President Maria Leonor Gerona-Robredo.
