Chapter 3 ~ New Recruits

                                    

                                          























Xoie's P.O.V












I woke up with Grim by my side and smiled big, because I remember that Grim gets to stay with me forever and ever. So I hugged Grim tight while he struggled to break free, I jumped out of my bed and brushed my hair along with Grim's fur and got ready for the day. I grabbed my satchel and Grim hopped up on my shoulder as I walked out of my room and skipped all the way to the Grey Area and saw Saïx, with Demyx, Xigbar, Luxord, and Larxene there. But before I could take another step I was scooped up by Vexen who held me close so dearly like as if my life was on the line.

Vexen: Xoie!! Thank goodness you are safe!!! Don't ever leave this castle ever again!! It's a dangerous world out there and you are not prepared for the world outside the castle
Xoie: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to- wait, you were all worried about me?
Larxene: Well duh Xoie, we care for you because you're our little Princess [tap her nose]
Xoie: [tear up] I... I... [sobs] I'm sorry!! [sobs] [sobs] I promise to never leave again [sobs]
Larxene: [frown] Oh~ I can never be mad at you [holds Xoie close and pushes Vexen away] Just promise your Big Sister that you'll never leave home, okay?
Xoie: [sniff] O-Okay
Larxene: There there [gently pats Xoie's head] Big sister is here to comfort you
Demyx: More like crazy big sister
Larxene: [glares] You hush!!!
Xoie: Oh, I also have someone to introduce to you all, this is Grim, my familiar or partner
Grim: She means to say "The Great Grim"
Larxene: No way!!
Demyx: It talks!?!? [falls off the couch]
Luxord: Well, you see something new everyday
Vexen: Interesting, A magic-wielding monster that came from Daybreak Town yet we have no idea what he is capable of, strange. Perhaps I can conduct and experiment on him
Xoie: Vexen!!
Vexen: I'm only joking... [whispers] Maybe. I wouldn't dare to harm such a creature like Grim [whispers] Even though I want to know what Grim is capable of
Saïx: Xoie... Your father wanted to inform you that there will be a new addition to the Organization
Xoie: Really? What's this person's name? Is it a boy or a girl? Are they about my age? Are they? Are they?
Saïx: [pats her head] We will see, but you will join us as we welcome the new addition to the Organization
Xoie: Yes!! But, where will I sit?
Saïx: For now, you will sit with your father
Xoie: Okay
Saïx: Axel will be bringing him soon, so we all must head to the Round Room at once

Everyone left and I left to go find my father, until I reached to his room and knocked, I heard him say "Enter" and I opened the door to see him.

Xemnas: Are you ready?
Xoie: Ready as I'll ever be!!
Grim: I wonder who this new recruit is gonna be
Xemnas: You will see

My father lifted my hood up and carried me in his arms as we appeared on his throne,  I was sitting on his lap while holding Grim close while he had one hand on top of my head and his arm rested on the armchair while he rest his head on top of his fist. The other members showed up and we all sat there waiting for my father to announce the new addition to the Organization.


Xemnas: Good tidings, friends. Today is a momentous day. I am pleased to announce that a new comrade has been chosen to wear the coat. Let us all welcome one of the keyblade's chosen
Xoie: [whispers] Whoa~ another Keyblade wielder [smile]
Xemnas: Number XIII, Roxas, The Key of Destiny... And [pats Xoie's head] Xoie, The Keyblade Princess

I gasped and looked up at him, was I actually going to be part of the Organization? Am I really going to have my opportunity to visit the other worlds? Or will I have something important to do? Everyone smiled until they were dismissed and I was placed in the ground.

Xoie: Father, do I really get to go to the other worlds?
Xemnas: Not yet my dear, I have an important task for you to for fill... You can gather all the hearts together in order to help create Kingdom Hearts... Your song helped you gather all the hearts around you and give them to Kingdom Hearts... In short, you can change people's hearts depending on how their hearts are
Xoie: So in other words if the bad heart is bad, then I can change it to good?
Xemnas: Exactly. The magic you posses is called "Change of Heart"
Grim: Change of Heart, that sounds like a Unique Magic for you Xoie
Xoie: Change of Heart... [smile] Okay! So long as I can help bring Kingdom Hearts, I'll help!!
Xemnas: Good [Kiss her forehead] Now run along Xoie, I'm sure you're eager to play with the new member, but remember, he won't talk much so try to take things slow
Xoie: Okay, bye daddy!
