I tried holding onto Ben struggling sense it was getting hard to bring him up "Please just...just hang on!!" I shouted in fear as Ben just cried out and swung around "Help!" He yelped out in fear and I was just crying I couldn't even get him up with my other hand "Y-Your gonna be okay!!" I said tears falling from my eyes as I tried to bring the scared male up but I just wasn't strong enough to do so before our hands slipped and I gasped harshly going to use my other hand to grab him but Darius used one of his hands to help me as we all panted smiling at each other before going to bring Ben up but as soon as that happened, a couple of pterodactyls had swung underneath Ben which made him wobble and loose his grip "No...no no no BEN!!" I shouted trying to reach back out as our fingertips grazed each other while he looked at me in fear before he fell
I shook my head frantically trying to jump out the speeding cart but Darius kept holding me back as I cried out "NONONO PLEASE I CAN'T LOSE HIM PLEASE!! I-I LOVE HIM!!" I cried out kicking my feet but Darius wouldn't budge as he frowned turning his head away as he felt my body relax being exhausted from the crying and kicking as my brother put me down on the floor against him holding me close "I'm sorry brother..." he muttered softly making me tear up shaking my head and pushing my face into his chest while everyone was in disbelief at what had just happened in front of them, bumpy then nudged me confused at what was happening but I just hugged her crying into her shell and she knew she just needed to comfort me "I'm sorry Bumpy...I wasn't strong enough to save him..."I muttered softly with small sniffles as the monorail was silent you could only hear the sound of it moving on the tracks
Yazmina shook her head frantically "He's gone...he's gone" she muttered under her breath in disbelief "I won't believe it!" Sammy cried out in anger and sadness as she tried to break something but that would cause another dinosaur to come near us if they heard "Sammy, no!" Brooklynn and Yasmina shouted holding Sammy back as she then just started to cry in Yas's shoulder "We're going back.." Darius spoke up making me sniffle while looking at him in slight confusion "What do you mean?" I asked "We're going back! The monorail is going back!!" He shouted which made me gasp and look over to see we were turning back "What do you mean going back!?" Sammy asked a bit nervously "When we switched the tracks we ended up on one, headed north. We're not going to the south dock, we're going away from them!" Darius explained before going to the front trying to get the monorail to turn back
He grunted and groaned in frustration "Ugh! Doesn't anything here work!?" He exclaimed before rolling his eyes forgetting about it and turning around to face us "We've gotta get off this monorail, now!" He told us as we looked out "The tracks dip down ahead, we can jump there!" Darius said making us look at him in shock "What!" "Jump?" The others exclaimed in fear and confusion "Darius what the hell! We can't jump it's to risky!" I shouted in anger and sadness but Darius patted my shoulder with a firm expression "It's the only way!" He said making me look at him before I sighed with a nod "alright...on my count" I said as we started to walk to the edge "One....Two...." I muttered as I held Ben's Fanny pack and Kenji held onto bumpy "THREE!" I shouted out as we all then jumped out screaming at the top of our lungs
We then fell to the ground rolling and hitting trees, bushes, and even rocks which hurt like heck but I tried to just shake it off and hopped a bit with a hopeful expression "Alright...Alright we made it! That means Ben could've made it to...let's go find him , he could still be out here!" I said with a smile grabbing his Fanny pack off the ground "M/n..he's not-" I cut Darius off trying not to listen to him while I wipe the dirt of Ben's Fanny pack "Come on dude, let's just go find him I'm sure he'll....be alright" I said with hesitation in my voice at the end "M/n please, we have to find a way to get home" Brooklynn tried to make me come back but I swiftly turn around with a blank expression "I..I just wanna find Ben..I need to find him! P-Plus, I'll have!-...I'll have.." I stopped looking around a bit before my eyes widened as I looked at Kenji "Where's Bumpy.." I muttered In distraught making Kenji's eyes widen while looking around the place as well
