Reader's POV

I opened my eyes. It appeared that I was in a hospital. An IV was hooked up to my arm. I looked down and saw multiple bandages wrapped around my stomach.

"You're awake!"

I looked towards the door and saw Mikey. He wore the black Tokyo Manji uniform and he also wore bandages to cover the bruises and scratches all over his body. I had guessed that he found his jacket after the fight, or he got a new one.

"How're you doing?" he asked me, nervously taking a step closer to me.

"I just woke up, I don't know, man."

He nodded. "Good point. Do you remember what happened?"

I thought for a bit. Bits and pieces of memories flashed through my mind.

A shard of glass stabbing me. Baji's body. Mikey.

"It's a bit fuzzy." I replied, still trying to piece together my memories.

"You were stabbed by a member of Valhalla. I guess they thought you were a traitor or something like that."

"I mean I did sorta switch sides."

"Good point, once again."

"Go on."

"Right." Mikey thought for a moment. "Toman beat up the guy and I told someone to call an ambulance. Takemitchy carried his phone with him to the fight for some reason, thank goodness for that, though."

I nodded. "Tell him thank you for me."

"I'm going to tell the others you woke up."

I laughed. "Okay."

With that, Mikey ran out of the room, his voice bouncing off the walls, spiralling down the hallway.

Takemichi's POV

I sat on a blue, plastic chair, nervously tapping my foot on the floor. Was Y/n okay? Would she live? What if she never wakes up? My thoughts were interrupted by Mikey-kun shouting down the hallway. "Y/n woke up! Y/n woke up!"

I leapt to my feet, eager to see her. I ran past Mikey and into her room. "Y/n..." I panted, tired from the run. I sighed in relief and hugged her tight.

"Oof. Careful Takemichi, just got stabbed."

"Oh, right! Sorry."

She smiled and shook her head.

"I'm in your debt... Takemitchy."

My eyes widened at what she said. I was in shock. She never called me by the nickname given to me by Draken and Mikey.

"N-No problem, Y/n!"

She grinned. "No but seriously, thanks. You saved my life."

I smiled, realising I had saved the future.

Mikey's POV

Members of Toman went into Y/n's hospital room one by one to talk to her. I was really happy to have her back.

Once the gang left to go home, I stayed behind to talk.

"Hey."

"...Hey."

"So, we didn't really get a chance to talk about our... conflict."

Y/n sighed. "I just... couldn't believe you would listen to Takemichi instead of me. I've known you for so long, why on earth would I do something like that?"

"I'm sorry..." Mikey avoided my gaze. "And I know that saying 'sorry' isn't going to do anything to fix what happened and it's not even close to making up for what I did, but I just want you to hear me say it. I'm glad that you're okay."

"Yeah, you're right. Saying sorry isn't even remotely close to all the things you have to do to make up for this!"

"I know, okay? I don't know why I trusted Takemitchy. But I also believe that he had a reason to lie to us. I mean, he kind of brought us closer to together."

Y/n sighed again. "I don't care what his reasoning was, it was stupid and he shouldn't do it again. God, what an idiot."

"Y/n, what if this happens again?" Mikey asked after a moment of silence.

"It won't." Y/n said confidently.

"That's what we thought before, then this happened."

"Whatever, it's in the past now." She said, looking out of the window beside her bed.

I walked up to her and sat on the edge of the mattress beside her. "I have something for you."

She looked back at me, eyebrow arched. "This isn't one of your dumb pranks, right?"

I shook my head. I handed her a bag.

I watched as she peeked into the bag and took out the contents.

"A Tokyo Manji jacket."

"Yep! Welcome back to the gang! Hope the jacket's not too stupid for you!" I smiled cheerily.

She laughed, running a hand over the fabric. Tears ran down her face. "Thank you." She whispered. She pulled me into a hug, her wet tears staining my black jacket.

"We have to promise to never get into another fight. Because we learned that if we do, an entire war between gangs will break out and you'll get stabbed."

She laughed through her tears. "Yeah."

I raised up my pinkie and waited for her to link hers with mine. She laughed again at my childishness.

We linked pinkies, swearing we would never fight again.

Mikey started to walk out of the room, but paused. "Y/n?" He looked back to look at me.

"Yeah?"

"Just know, that I'd never lie to you. And, I'll never, ever leave you again." He smiled and walked out.
