Chapter 17: more mysteries but no answers

                                    

                                          
"Your sure you'll be okay home alone?" 
My uncle asked 
"Yes uncle I'll be fine. I'm not a little kid, you can trust me."
He sighed and rubbed his head. He has also been so paranoid when it comes to me. Ever since he heard of my parents death he's done everything in his power to keep me safe 
"I know. I know. It's just...I worry about you y/n." 
I hugged him and patted him on the back 
"And I really appreciate how much you care about me. But Im growing up, so you don't have to worry about me as much. Besides my phone is always charged so if something happens I'll call you." 
He sighed agains and smiled. Then ruffled my hair 
"Okay kiddo. Just take it easy and don't get into any trouble. I'm heading to work." 
I waved him off as he left the shop 
"Okay bye!"

"Now what to do with my day?"
I've been so busy lately that I don't know what to do with my free time. 
Then I noticed my computer and then my webcam 
'I said I would relax but that might be very important.' 
I turned on my computer. Then got the video out and started fast forwarding a little bit. Until I noticed something, my vent opened and then the camera started glitching out like crazy! But I could make out a pair of rabbit ears? Then when my camera went back to normal my vent was closed and the thing gone. 
'Okay so indeed somebody was in my room but why do they just put the game back on the desk. They didn't steal or break anything.' 
I look at the game. 
'Y/n it is such a bad idea! We've had worse. Y/n, someone literally broke in just to put the game there! We should take ace advice and smash it with a hammer! It will also release some stress I mean there's a reason rage rooms were created.' 
I took the game and took out the disc. Then I went into the draw and grabbed a hammer. 
'This ends now!' 
And without thinking twice I smashed the game. 
I felt a weird satisfaction and started laughing. I felt a giant weight be taken off my shoulder. Then I threw it in the trash. I laid on my bed feeling so at peace that I feel asleep.

I woke up to a loud alarm on my phone
"Aah!" 
I scream as it blared its loud alarm i look to see that my phone has notified me that something has entered my computer system. I get on my computer and try to find it in all my files but nothing was popping up. when I looked through my games I noticed the VR game was somehow downloaded onto my computer! 
'How is that possible! I bought a disk version! I didn't download it! You got to be kidding me. I can't get a break!' 
I slammed my head on my desk feeling defeated
