It has now been a month and two weeks since Jayde had last gotten her period and now she was scared out of her mind. She had taken the pregnancy tests three weeks ago and they were all negative, so she could be pregnant right? And it would honestly be frustrating if she spent all that money buying accurate pregnancy tests for them to give her false results.

It had also been three weeks since She and Jack had been sleeping with each other. There wasn't a day when Jack wasn't coming over right after studio sessions to be with Jayde. Sabrina and Lauryn had found out about them and would not leave her alone about it, there was never a time where Jack wasn't mentioned in one of their conversations.

She hadn't seen Clay in a few days because he went back to Kentucky for a few weeks and she was kinda of glad because she was still trying to figure out a way to tell him that she was 'seeing' Jack without him being mad at the both of them. She didn't think he would be mad that they're seeing each other, but more so the fact that it's been going on this long and neither of them have told him.

So maybe they wouldn't tell him exactly how long this had been going.

Jayde currently laid in bed, scrolling through instagram and liking a few posts as Jack laid asleep on her chest. They had been like this pretty much all morning after Jack stayed over last night after being at the studio from the crack of dawn. She had ordered takeout because she didn't really feel like cooking or leaving the house today:

It didn't take long for the food to arrive and Jayde had to go get it so she shook Jack awake, having to try multiple times before he actually did wake up, and went downstairs to grab the food. When she came back upstairs, Jack was still in her bed asleep and she sighed, not wanting to have to wake him up again so that he could eat. He can just reheat his food if it got cold. She stood in the kitchen and ate her food which was orange chicken and fried rice with extra vegetables.

Halfway through eating the food suddenly became repulsive to her and she had the urge to throw up everything she had eaten. She closed the styrofoam lid and put it in the refrigerator because although she was no longer in the mood to eat she wasn't gonna waste the food.

She went into the bathroom just in case she did have to throw up and it didn't take her long to be leaning over the toilet emptying her stomach. Jack must've woken up to the noises because within seconds he was there rubbing her back. This had became a new thing for them with how many times Jayde had been throwing up over the past few weeks.

"Damn, How many times am I gonna have to do this for you?" Jack chuckles lightly, rubbing her back.

"Shut up, Jackman. No one is asking you to do anything," Jayde says, spitting into the toilet and flushing it.

"I was just joking," Jack says, raising his hands in defense.

"Well, it wasn't funny," Jayde says. She was now in a mood and Jack was starting to piss her off.

Jayde swished a capful of mouthwash around in her mouth and spit it into the sink, repeating it two more times before being satisfied. Jack followed her out of the bathroom and into her bedroom, standing by the door. There was something off about Jayde and there has been for a few weeks now, but he never said anything about it because the littlest things were starting to set her off and it was weird.

A few weeks ago after she told him about when she thought she was pregnant his curiosity got the best of him and he searched up things related to pregnancy, finding himself on multiple websites within an hour. Everything he remembered was coming back to him and suddenly he felt like he was the one who needed to throw up.

Was Jayde pregnant? She couldn't be because they've been using protection just to prevent her from getting pregnant. Fuck, what were they gonna do if she was pregnant? He's gonna be leaving soon for tour. Would she even want to keep the baby?

"Why are you just standing right there?" Jayde asks, walking out of her closet with new clothes on, bringing Jack out of his train of thought.

"I was just thinking about something," Jack says, sitting on the bed.

"What?" The younger says, sitting next to him.

"I think you should take another pregnancy test," Jack says, looking at the girl who looked at him dumbfounded.

"Excuse me, what? Jack. I'm not pregnant. I literally got three negative tests a few weeks ago, did you forget?" Jayde says, remembering she still had the tests in the drawer. She honestly should've thrown them away a long time ago. "See?" Showing him the screen that read Negative.

"They could've been false negatives. That shit happens, I've read about it," Jack says and Jayde furrows her eyebrows.

"You read about people having false negative pregnancy tests?" She asks.

"Yeah, Positive and Negative. It was after you told me about the negatives," Jack says. "Just take one, just to make sure,"

Jayde sighed. "Fine. But you're buying them, I'm not not spending money to to get some false results again," she says.

So Jack drive to the nearest pharmacy and grabbed six different brands of pregnancy tests because you really could never be too sure, and well he obviously had the money for it. He was recognized a couple of times and took a few photos, making sure to hide what he bought. He didn't need anything getting out right now.

When he got back to Jayde's apartment, he walked in to her sitting on the bathroom floor crying. He sat the bag of tests on the counter and sat down next to her.

"What's wrong, Jay. Why you crying?" Jack asks, moving her hair out of her face.

"Y-You're gonna leave me, Jack," Jayde cried even harder, crying at the words the left her own mouth.

"I'm not gonna leave you, why would you think that?" Jack asks.

"You have an ongoing career and you're popping off and if I'm pregnant you're gonna leave c-cause you're not ready for a kid," Jayde says and she was right about everything except for him leaving her.

"Hey, I'm not gonna leave you, Jayde," Jack says, putting his finger under her chin to lift her head up. "Yeah, I may have an ongoing career and all that shit, and I ain't really ready for no kid right now, but I ain't going nowhere,"

"You promise?" Jayde says, feeling like a little kid, and Jack nods.

"I promise. Now come on, stop all that crying and let's take these tests. I got six of 'em," Jack says, taking the bag and putting them on the counter.

"Alright," Jayde says, getting off of the bathroom floor and wiping her tears.

Jack left the bathroom and stood in the kitchen, drumming his fingers against the countertop. Was he really about to become a dad? He heard the toilet flush which probably meant she was done and the water ran for a few seconds before she came out. Jack opened his arms, signaling for her to come into them, which she did.

"It's going to be okay, Jayde. I promise. They might not even be positive and you just got some weird shit going on with you," Jack says.

"Nice words of encouragement, Jackman," Jayde says.

They stayed like that until the timer went off and they instantly they went to the bathroom and checked. All six tests were positive. Both Jayde and Jack's stomachs dropped and Jayde's tears returned.

The tests she took were false negatives. She was pregnant. She was going to be a Mom, Jack was going to be a Dad. They're weren't even together, how were they going to have a kid?

"Jack," Jayde cried, turning into his chest.

"It's okay, what did I tell you? It's going to be okay. We're going to be okay,"
