"Cooked it up just this morning," Fred says 
"It's not going to work," Hermione says and everyone stares at the Gryffindor with a slight smirk on her lips.
"Oh yeah? And why's that Granger." Fred says 
"You see this? This is an age line. Dumbledore drew it himself." Hermione explains
"So," George scoffs
"So a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by something pathetically dimwitted such as an age potion." Flo answers
"That's why it's so brilliant Ravens," George says 
"Well go on then" Flo says and George smirks and turns to his twin 
"Ready Fred?"
"Ready George? Bottoms up" and they drink the potion
They jump inside the age line and students cheer whilst the twins look rather pleased with themselves. They put their names in the flame and nothing happens. The twins stare at each other with wide grins as they high-five each other. 
Suddenly, the flame fires up and they're flung across the room onto the floor. When they get up they have full heads of grey hair and beards. Everyone in the room starts to laugh. They roll around fighting on the floor and the crowd cheer them on. 
Suddenly, the room becomes eerily silent as Viktor Krum walks in and puts his name in the flaming goblet. He looks in Hermione's direction and she smiles. Y/N sees this and frowns and Flo notices and shuffles closer so only Y/N can hear her.
"Now you know you Hermione feels every time to stare at the Beauxbaton girl," Flo says and Y/N looks to Hermione who is now smiling as she reads.

"So Viktor seems to fancy you," Y/N says out of the blue as her and Hermione study in the library as they've always done.
"Nonsense Y/N," Hermione says 
"What do you mean nonsense I saw the way you looked at him," Y/N says and Hermione says 
"I don't think he was actually looking at me, and besides I don't think it would work out" Hermione says 
"So you do fancy him," Y/N says and Hermione frowns
"I don't know Y/N" Hermione finally relents speaking a little too loudly gathering a bit of attention from the nearby students.
The two go back to studying in silence with Hermione in a angry mood. Y/N hates that she caused her to be upset just next she's a little jealous.
"I'm sorry for prying" Y/N finally says and Hermione sighs "I didn't mean to make you upset "
"I'm not upset Y/N I'm just-" Hermione stops herself before continuing "Look I don't know if he even likes me, it's all just a bit-"
"Confusing," Y/N says and Hermione nods 
"I'm just surprised someone would be interested in me," Hermione says 
"What do you mean a lot of people fancy you," Y/N says and Hermione rolls her eyes 
"Oh, really who Y/N" 
The word was on the tip of her tongue, she wanted to say 'me' but the word never came out "I- um- well- you see-" 
"My thoughts exactly, I'm not like I'm you," Hermione says "your so confident and gorgeous that it can sometimes be annoying,"
"Don't sell yourself short you're pretty and the most amazing girl I've ever met." Y/N says and Hermione smiles "To be honest with you I can be a rambling mess when talking to girls. The confidence is mostly an act, like a defence mechanism to not be vulnerable with someone"
"I never knew that," Hermione says curiously and Y/N gets lost in her concerned honey-brown eyes.
"Well it's not something I like talking about," Y/N replies "I may act all confident on the outside but on the inside and chaotic stumbling mess that has no idea what their doing"
"I don't think that," Hermione says "I don't believe you are a chaotic stumbling mess. I just see you, someone that is kind to everyone, brave and loyal to her core. That doesn't sound like someone who is a chaotic mess."
Y/N smiles and gently places her hand on top of Gryffindor's "thank you. I don't usually talk about my vulnerability with anyone. It was nice to tell someone about it"
Hermione smiles "I'm always here if you need and thank you for trusting me with it"
"Thanks just don't tell the others about it" Y/N says and Hermione nods
"Your secret is safe with me" Hermione replies 
Y/N smiles and the pair continue on with their studies. Their hands still joined together under the table as they worked.
