Allie opened her deep green eyes, revelling the dancing dust fairies twirling in and out of the sun rays appearing through the rose red curtains, she looked around and saw all her roommates sleeping. Lily, in the bed next to her had her hand blocking a small fraction of the light peering through as it hung over the side of her bed. Allie looked into the eyes of her clock, the figures staring back stating that she was the early bird once again. "6:05, at least it was a little lie in..." She sighed as she climbed quietly out of her four-poster bed and crept across the room. She pulled the oak door open quietly and began to descend down the stairs. Quietly creeping into the room, she was surprised to see another figure. "Remus" Her voice filled with both shock and surprise. "I didn't realise anyone else was up" She continued, as she climbed onto the red sofa.
"Neither did I" He replied faintly putting down his book, Allie lean to the side and bent her neck to nose, but leaned too much causing her to fall to the floor, like a rock of a cliff.
"Are you ok?" Remus jumped up in concern.
"Ye, I think" Allie giggled rubbing her head,
"What on earth where you trying to do?"
"I was looking at the book you were reading, clearly I should have asked" Allie and Remus sat back down "If you really want to know it was a book recommended by Lily, the golden compass, it's really good" "I'm glad you like it" Allie smiled nervously
"You can borrow it if you'd like?" Remus smiled
"That'd be nice-"
"Aw look, the love birds are up together" Sirius smirked
"Shut it, Padfoot!" Annie growled entering the gold, orange, and red decorated room.
"If it isn't Miss 'perfect'" Sirius began sniggering
"Shut it" Annie growled again as she wondered over to the by the fireplace, "early bird again sis, is it? Couldn't wait to see him?" She smirked viciously.
"What is it? Pick on Allison day?" Allie growled throw gritted teeth, storming past the zombie Lily. "Huh, what happened?"
"Anastasia and Sirius ganged up on Allie and she's had enough" Remus sighed looking down at his book again.
"Will you two ever leave her alone! She doesn't like it and she's certainly not like you when it comes to criticism" Lily stormed off up the spiral of stairs towards her room.
"Well, we pissed two people off and haven't even got our timetable" Annie said smirking.
"Allie?" Lily leaned over Allison's bed to where the weeping willow sat, storms growing wilder in her glassy eyes, "Allie, wipe those rivers away, there's no need for it" She began climbing over the bed, plumbing down by her. "Your sister's just being Annie and we all know Sirius likes teasing everyone," Lily cooed
"Lil's... why did you borrow Remus a book?" Lily smirked sweetly
"I knew he'd lend it to you, and missy changing the subject!" Lily laughed, causing Allie to join in, "See there's that smile I'm looking for." Lily smiled wiping Allies tear-stained face "Has he told you?" She whispered genteelly
"Told me what?" Allie frowned in confusion, the smile being only brief – gone as quickly as it came
"I'll be back, you stay here for me" Lily got up and rushed to the door and down the spiral stairs, "You! Come with now!" With that she sprinted up the stairs and stood waiting for the boy to hurry on up after her. "Take any longer and she'll be bones" She sniggered as he slowly made his way up the stairs to the oak door. "Come on, you need to tell her, it's clear she likes you too" Lily was no longer sniggering, she now had a serious look on her face as she looked. She raised an eyebrow to him.
