Naala walked with her head hung low to the front,

"Stop," A man said stepping in front of her. "Gotta search you pretty lady." He smirked looking down at her.

Naala agreed and let him search her, trying to ignore when he intentionally groped her body.

"You good pretty," He tapped her back letting her through.

Justice watched from the car anxiously. He trusted Naala and he knew she was smart, however he didn't trust that they would treat her right.

After 10 minutes of him waiting impatiently, Naala emerged from the building, with two big black duffel bags.

He popped the trunk for her and she sat the bags in the back, getting into the car.

"How was it?" Justice glanced at her,

"He paid double," Naala replied with a wide smile.

"That's my girl," Justice exclaimed leaning over to kiss her cheek. "Now, when it's all yours, you'll know what to do."

His words resonated with Naala, she was stronger than she thought.

OMNISCIENT

PALM SPRINGS, LA

"How did Gloria find out?" Naala whispered to Naleli in anger,

"I don't know, that's his mom, maybe she checked on him," Naleli answered not looking at Naala,

"She's already causing more problems for me, asking me to come home." Naala huffed closing her eyes.

"Naala I helped you with the body but that's it," Naleli spoke quietly, "I don't want to be mixed up in any of this and neither should you,"

"How can I not get involved?" Naala questioned, "We were married before he died,"

"Then be the grieving wife, that's all you have to do," Naleli tucked her hair behind her ear,

"Why are you so mean?" Naala frowned sitting beside her,

"Go and be with your daughters, you're in here doing what?" Naleli said in annoyance,

"I'm in here acting like my life is over," Naala sucked her teeth. She took a deep breath and thought about something that would make her sad.

"You're a looney tune," Naleli scrunched her face up when Naala started sobbing,

"If I don't they will know it was me," Naala cried smearing the tears over her face.

"Yeah well lucky you're crazy," Naleli mumbled watching Naala cry to herself,

"Can I tell Amir now?" Naala asked, the tears still streaming down her face but no emotion on her face.

"Do what you like Naala, but if you end up in prison, I can't help you," Naleli said bluntly,

"Ugh I hate you," Naala said standing up, she left the room closing the door behind her.
