(Ohm's POV)
                          
The world is in shambles. 
                          
Once the Ebola vaccine backfired, it began to turn people into zombies. 
                          
Minx and I seemed to be the only ones immune to the virus. Everyone else has been affected. 
                          
Good thing we have each other, at least. 
                          
I love Minx with all of my heart and soul. She's the person I've always wanted in my life. 
                          
"DUCK!" I screamed to Minx, snapping out of my daydreaming. She ducked, and I shot my gun at the zombie coming towards her, killing the zombie instantly. 
                          
We made our retreat to an abandoned building, like we had many nights before. I volunteered to take the first shift, and she simply nodded, kissed me, and a few minutes later,she fell asleep. 
                          
I sat up,watching for any zombies. At the end of my shift, I reluctantly woke Minx up, and she watched over us while I slept.

(Minx's POV)
                          
I had a very uneventful watch. I killed one zombie, and that was it. Once morning came, we cleared out of the building, and went searching for supplies.
                          
We killed a few zombies along the way, but not many. 
                          
That suddenly changed. 
                          
Without any warning, zombies came from all sides of us, surrounding us. The zombies then rearranged themselves to all be facing Ohm, the one with the gun. 
                          
He looked at me, and I looked at him, unsure of what we were going to do next.

(Ohm's POV)
                          
I tried to shoot my gun at a zombie, but nothing happened. That's when I realized how bad the situation could turn out. I looked back at Minx, the love of my life, and at that loint, my mind was made up. 
                          
"Go the other way!" I shouted to her, handing her my prized Ohm mask to remember me by. 
                          
"Aren't you coming with?" She asked, concerned. 
                          
"No. I'm saving you." I replied calmly. 
                          
"NOOOOO OHM!! I CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE YOU!" She screamed. 
                          
"The best thing in my life has always been you. Now go." I replied, taking out a small pocket knife and facing the zombies. 
                          
I heard Minx run off fearfully, and I knew I had to do what I said I would always do to protect her. 
                          
I grasped my pocketknife hard, and I charged the zombies. 
                          
Just as I suspected, the zombies went after me, not her. As long as she was safe, everything was good to me.

(Minx's POV)
                          
I ran a little bit, but turned around to see if Ohm was following me. 
                          
He wasn't. 
                          
I turned round at the exact time the zombies killed Ohm. I turned around, and made my way the other way, trying to get as far away as possible. 
                          
(Time skip)
                          
I finally made it to at least semi-safety. I thought back to what Ohm had said, words that would stick in my head forever:
                          
"The best part of my life has always been you."
