Chapter 36- Magic Test

                                    

                                          
We start the rest of the tests.
First Bruce runs a DNA test. He runs about another five tests but I don't know what any of them are for. Altogether it takes a couple hours.
"Alright, we have a secure room for Loki to test your magic Y/N. While you do that Bruce and I are going to run through all the test results," Tony says. He motions to a room that can be seen through a window off the side of the lab.
"Do you have that box of things?" Loki asks Tony.
Tony nods and passes a small box to Loki.
"Thanks," Loki says to Tony
I clear my throat and hold out my wrists.
"Right," Tony says.
He grabs something and fiddles with it. The bracelets fall off both Loki's and my hands. We both pick them up and place them on a table just outside the room before walking in. It's a pretty plain room. The window is actually a two way mirror.
We sit on the floor.
"Ok, I just need to see a few basic things," Loki says. "First, make a glowing ball in your hand," He says.
It's really easy to do so I do it straight away.
"Huh, interesting..." He says.
He picks up a balloon and blows it up before placing it in front of me.
"Pop it with your mind," Loki says.
I look at the balloon and it pops.
He nods and then places a pen in front of me.
"Move it with your mind," he instructs.
I move my hand out in front of me and pick up the pen with my mind using my hand to guide it. I move it above Loki's head and let the connection go so it drops on Loki's head. He gives me a 'really?' look. I smile at him.
He then places a juggling ball in front of me.
" Blow it up," He says to me.
I engulf the ball in blue magic and it explodes. 
"Ok, place two fingers on each of my temples and see if you can read my mind, I'll be thinking of a random number," he says.
I do what he says and feel an odd sensation as I'm pulled into his mind. '2439, 2439, 2439,' I hear him chant in his mind. I pull my hands away and he looks at me.
"2439," I tell him and he nods.
"Freeze the pen," Loki says.
I try but can't do it.
"Don't worry that's Jotun magic. Stand up," he instructs.
"Teleport to the other side of the room," he says.
"I don't know how," I say.
"Concentrate on the spot you want to go," he says.
I close my eyes and concentrate on the spot across the room. When I open my eyes I'm in the spot across the room.
"You shouldn't be able to do that. Ok, change into... a green floor length dress," I close my eyes and concentrate.
When I open my eyes I'm in a green floor length dress.
Loki looks at me with wide eyes.
"One, you're beautiful, two you also shouldn't be able to do that," he says. "Uhm ok, make fireworks come out of your hand."
I laugh at that.
"That's cute," I say but do it anyway.
"Uhm, I'll be back in a second," Loki says.
He leaves and then walks back in with a knife.
"Whoa! How did you convince them to let you have that?!" I ask.
"We need it for this next bit, it's really important," he says.
He brings the knife to the back of his hand and makes a small cut, not enough to hurt him. I look at him shocked.
He puts his hand out.
"Heal it," her says.
"How?" I ask.
"Put your hand over mine and use that glow you made earlier imaging that the cut is closing," he says.
I do what he says and when I pull away, the cut is gone.
He looks at me concerned and then runs out of the room. I follow behind.
"Let me guess, they weren't her real parents and her blood was inhuman and similar to mine," Loki says.
Tony nods.
"We thought that the magic would make Y/N's blood different from normal and that was what made your blood similar to hers," Bruce says.
"Magic doesn't change your blood," Loki says. "Her magic is identical to mine and it's the same reason her blood is similar and those aren't her real parents," Loki says and turns to me. 
"It isn't a coincidence. Y/N, you're Asgardian," he says.
