Melissa's POV
The past 3 weeks I have been settling into Riverdale and creating a routine for this town and every week I get closer to Sweet Pea. He has already gotten pretty protective of me. I am going to the the only middle school on the Southside and its not the best but I bare with it. Cat and I haven't talked since the first day here. We go to the same school but I caught her breaking something that we agreed when we became friends. We said we would be best friends for life and when we get other friends that we would still be there for each other. She kind of abandoned me and left me for her Riverdale friends. So currently I don't have anyone except for Sweet Pea. 
Sweet Pea- Melissa you ready
Melissa- Yeah
Sweet Pea- Any luck with friends
Melissa- No 
Sweet Pea- You will get there 
I got into the car and he drove me to school. When we go there I saw Cat with her friends. I looked at her and she caught me this time. I rushed into the school someone bumped into me. 
Cat's Friend- I hear that you were kidnapped when you were a baby
Melissa- Thats not your buisness
Cat's Friend- Serpents are weak 
Melissa- Stop 
Cat's Friend- Your weaker 
I walked off and that was a bad idea. Everyone surrounded us and I was leaning against the wall looking down. He was making fun of me and he started to push me around. Of course they were recording and not defending myself. Sweet Pea has been trying to work on that with me and when he got me into counseling for all the abuse I went through they even said that I need to work on defending myself more. I saw Cat walk in and just watched me from afar. I heard a teacher yelling at everyone. Cat tried to run off but she was stopped. 
Izzy- Get to class. Cat you get back here right now
Student- Ooo Miss. Stevenson is here to save the day
Izzy- You get to class or I will send you to the office. Melissa and Cat come to my classroom
She was not happy with Cat and I was walking close to her. 
Melissa- When did you start teaching here
Izzy- When I found out you were going to school with no friends from your brother. Sit down Cat. I am very upset with this. What do you have to say for yourself Cat
Cat- Nothing
Izzy- What so you move to Riverdale that has 2 gangs that your apart of the serpents and you are betraying your friendship. Melissa isn't an official serpent but she is by blood and you are breaking a rule. You should be lucky I'm not bringing this to your leader 
Cat- What
Izzy- Your mom is on her way and knows the truth now 
Cat- Are you joking
Izzy- Until you talk things out you are going home for the day 
Cat- How though
Izzy- Principle called
Cat- Oh no
Lisa- Cat get in the car now. Oh and when you get home you are giving me your jacket and your phone you are grounded. Lets go
She walked out and Izzy told me that she would call Sweet Pea if things got worse. I went to my class and everyone had their eyes on me. I felt off the whole class and after it just continued. Someone pulled on my sleeve and Showed the bruise that my kidnapper of a dad gave me. I pulled away and pushed my sleeve down.
