After three rings, his mom answered the phone. Luckily, she could only see Jaden at this point and she had no idea I was even there.

"Hey Momma," Jaden said into the phone.

"Hey, Jaden. What's up?" She asked from the other side of the phone.

"Nothing, I just figured I'd call and say hi," Jaden said with a smile. He seemed genuinely happy to be talking to his mom.

"Oh! Now that you called, I did have something I wanted to ask you about," Amy started. "I was wondering when you were coming to visit next."

"I'll probably stop by when the tour gets to Tennessee. Don't worry, I'll for sure be there soon."

"Great!" Amy smiled. "You should bring your girlfriend with you too!"

"I will, she's excited to meet you," Jaden said to the phone. I don't know if I was necessarily excited, but I knew I was going to have to meet them eventually.

"Well, I'm excited to meet her. You seem to really like her, I can tell," Amy said, which just brought a smile to my face.

"Yeah, I really love her," Jaden said as he looked up into my eyes. "I think she's the one."

"Well I'm proud of you. What are you looking at?" Amy asked as she noticed he was still staring at me. "Is she there with you?"

"Yeah, she's right here," Jaden said.

"Can I talk to her?" Amy laughed through the phone. Jaden handed me the phone and all of a sudden I was face to face with Jaden's mom. I was a little intimidated at first, but as soon as I saw her all my nerves went away.

"Hi, I'm Evie," I smiled.

"I know who you are," Amy laughed. "Jaden has told me a lot about you."

"Really?" I questioned. "What has he told you?"

"Well he keeps telling me that you are the most incredible person on the planet. There are some other things too. Let's just say that if you're half of what he says, we're going to get along just fine."

"Thank you," I smiled. "I'll let you talk to Jaden again."

"Alright, I'll talk to you later," Amy smiled.

"Bye," I said as I handed the phone back to Jaden.

"Give me one second, Mom," Jaden said as he clicked the mute button on the phone and aimed the camera at the ceiling.

"You really told your mom all that stuff about me?" I smiled.

"Of course," Jaden said as he sat down next to me. "Evie, I really like you."

"Well, I love you," I laughed as I ran my fingers through his hair.

"Now you're making me feel like an asshole," Jaden laughed. "You can't say you love me after I say I really like you."

"Don't worry, I know you love me," I grinned as I ran my fingers along the tattoo of my initials on his wrist. "My initials wouldn't be on your wrist if you didn't," I said and he placed a soft kiss on my lips that I wanted to last forever. After around a minute of kissing, I came back to reality and realized that his mom was still on the phone. "Jaden," I smiled as I pushed away.

"Yeah?"

"Your mom is still on the phone," I said with a small giggle.

"Oh shit!" Jaden said as he ran over to the phone and unmuted it. "I'm back."

"How was your makeout session?" His mom asked immediately. I didn't know how she could've known until I realized the red lip gloss that was smeared across his lips.

"We didn't just-" Jaden started, but I interrupted him.

"Jaden! Don't lie to your mom," I said as I walked over and used my thumb to wipe the lip gloss off his lips.

"I like her," Amy muttered through the phone. "So how was it?"

"It was fine," Jaden obviously was lying again.

"Jaden! Just tell her the truth please," I smirked. He obviously wasn't enjoying me calling him out on everything in front of his mom, but he still wouldn't stop smiling.

"Oh my God! Evie!" Jaden laughed. "Do you really have to call me out on every single thing?!"

"She wouldn't have to call you out if you just told the truth," Amy laughed. "Be honest this time, Jaden. How was it?"

"It was fine!" Jaden laughed.

"Try again," I said.

"Okay, if you're so smart, you tell my mom how our makeout session was!" Jaden said as he handed me the phone. Now I was just going to have to tell her to keep my pride alive.

"Hi again," I smiled.

"Hi, Evie," Amy smiled back. "I'm glad you're honest, but you don't have to tell me anything about your makeout session if you don't want to."

"If I don't, Jaden won't let me forget it for the rest of my life," I scoffed as I looked up at him.

"I'm waiting," Jaden smirked at me.

"It was really great," I said with a fake smile. "See, that wasn't so hard!"

"Why don't you give her more details?" Jaden grinned.

"I don't need details," Amy seemed almost scared to hear about it and it was sort of comical.

"If Jaden wants details, I'll give you details!" I grinned. "Jaden kissed me right after I mentioned the tattoo on his wrist!"

"Evie! We don't need to tell her about the tattoo!" Jaden obviously didn't want his mom to know about my initials.

"No, you can tell me," Amy said in a more serious tone. "What tattoo?"

"Your son got my initials tattooed on his wrist," I smirked as I looked up at Jaden. He looked like he was preparing for a nice long lecture.

"Will you give the phone back to Jaden, please?" Amy asked and I could tell she was trying her absolute hardest not to get mad at him. I handed the phone to Jaden and she immediately started lecturing him. "Jaden! Why would you get her initials tattooed on you? Tattoos are permanent!"

"That's kind of the idea," Jaden muttered under his breath.

"Those are going to be there forever! What happens when you guys break up and those are still there? I'm sure your future girlfriends aren't going to like that there!"

"Mom, there aren't going to be other girls!" Jaden yelled into the phone.

"You're allowed to think that right now, but you don't know what's going to happen in the future."

"You're right, I don't know what's going to happen. I do know one thing though, I don't want to live a life without her in it. I love her and that baby more than-" Jaden clasped his hand over his mouth as soon as he realized what he had said.

"What?" Amy asked, but we both just stayed silent. "Jaden, is there something you're not telling me?"
