I am Jessica Lopez but most people call me Jess. I am nineteen-years-old and a forward for Manchester City and the Spanish notional team. My national teammate, Ona Batlle also plays over here in England but she plays for Manchester United. Manchester is definitely blue and this season, i will prove that.
Today is Match day -1, as tomorrow we take on our rivals Manchester United in the first derby of the season. Right now, we are top of the table but United are second, on the same points as us. We are ahead on goal difference, but only one goal separates us. It's tight at the top.

****** I arrived at training just in time for it to start. I had a good session today and i'm ready for tomorrow. The whole team is, everyone looks sharp and ready to go!
After training i walked into the cafeteria and sat at a table with Vicky, Keira, Lucy, Alex, Ellie and Janine.
"So, i hope you two won't be going easy on your Spanish friend tomorrow" Keira said. She was directing it at me, mostly which made me and Vicky laugh slightly.
"Don't worry about me. It's definitely Jess you should worry about"
"Don't worry, Keira. It's derby day and she's a rival"
"That's the spirit" Keira gave me a high-five.
"What's the deal with you and Ona anyways? Aren't you guys like super close?" Ellie asked.
"Yeah, i guess we are. She's my best friend" Vicky looked at me knowing what i said wasn't entirely true.
You see, i may or may not have feelings for Ona BUT it's nothing serious. These feelings are relatively new and don't really mean anything right now.
Ona's pov Tomorrow we take on Manchester City. More importantly, i take on Jess. Truth being told, i have feelings for Jess but i'm too scared to tell her. I almost did, last camp but i chickened out last minute. My whole team know and so does the Spanish team, even Vicky knows but she promised, like everyone else not to tell Jess.
