"Mr Rohan!" Koichi jogged over to the front of the library where Rohan was waiting for him. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting. But if you don't mind me asking, what are we looking for here exactly?"
Rohan nodded at Koichi's arrival, "Zenigata mentioned nurses which suggests that her main body may be in a hospital somewhere. When Yuya Fungami was attacking Josuke and I, you found him through newspaper clippings, didn't you? I was hoping we might be able to find news about Zenigata as well through similar means."
Koichi's eyes widened, "Good thinking, Mr Rohan!" The two entered the library and Rohan quickly got them access to the library's news archives. It wasn't the first time he'd done this after all, though usually it was in search of references for his manga. As they got to searching however, Koichi furrowed his brow. "Mr Rohan, how do we know when we should be looking at? There's a lot to work through here, you know."
"She never attacked us during our fight with Kira so it's probably safe to assume that she awakened her stand more recently. It's possible that her stand isn't even related to the arrow and that the hospitalization is a coincidence. But it still sounded like a rather significant injury so hopefully it made the news anyway," Rohan explained. "Unlike Yuya's, it didn't seem like her stand could really do anything to us anyway."
"That makes sense," Koichi mused, "I'll start looking a little bit before Kira's death date then."
They worked in silence for a while, flipping through old newspapers without much to show for it. Hours passed and Rohan was starting to get frustrated. He didn't enjoy hitting dead ends, and he especially disliked being wrong about things. Searching for a distraction, he spoke up. "So, Koichi. How have you been lately? You never visit anymore."
Koichi laughed a little nervously, "Oh, right. Sorry about that, I've been trying to focus more on school this year. My grades were falling a little behind from worrying about Kira for so long. But I've been doing okay. More or less."
Rohan paused in his reading and gave Koichi a questioning look. "More or less?" he pressed, "Is something wrong?"
"Well, not with me personally," Koichi admitted, "But I've been a little worried about Josuke and Okuyasu."
At the mention of those two names, Rohan seemed to lose interest immediately. "If it's those two then I wouldn't be too concerned. They'll sort themselves out soon enough I'm sure."
"That's more or less what Yukako said too," Koichi mumbled.
"Those idiots seem made for each other," Rohan scoffed. "I swear they become even more insufferable when they're together than when they're apart."
Koichi looked up from the paper he was staring at without really processing. "You really think so?" he asked, "About them being made for each other I mean. Not the uhh, other thing."
Rohan sighed and crossed his arms to face Koichi fully. "What is this about, Koichi? Are they fighting or something?"
Koichi hesitated for a moment, but he'd gotten this far already. And besides, maybe an adult perspective might help clear things up. "No, that's not it," he said, "It's almost the opposite really. You see, they both seem to really like each other but neither of them seem to realize it about the other. And I can't help but wonder if maybe I should just step in and help them out because we'll be graduating soon. What if they end up missing each other because they're both too oblivious to what's going on? They're my friends and I want to see them happy, you know?"
"Hmm, I see," Rohan said slowly. "Well, truth be told I'm perhaps not the best person to ask about this. Romance and the like has never interested me in the slightest. I guess I just don't see the point. But I can acknowledge that it's important to most people and if you think it's important to Josuke and Okuyasu then it's not something you can force. It has to happen naturally." He frowned and carefully considered his next words. "I would say though, if either of them happen to bring it up with you. I mean, if you can think of a way to bring it up naturally, then there's nothing wrong with giving them a slight nudge in the right direction."
"That makes sense I guess," Koichi admitted. He laughed and rubbed awkwardly at the back of his neck, "I think I just have a bad habit of getting involved with things that don't really concern me. None of us would even be here if I hadn't been so curious about what Mr. Jotaro had to say."
Rohan chuckled and turned back to the next newspaper, "Perhaps. But I for one am glad that you did get involved. So who knows, maybe this will work out in the end too."
