it was hard to believe that the year has passed by. it was finally december— the weather was getting colder and colder each day. it was unbearable, but with jaehyun seated next to her, it made her feel warmer.

"he's so hot," sighs hyejin dreamily. her mouth gapes at the sight of park seo joon on her laptop.

another voice disrupts her imagination, "i'm right here, you know?"

hyejin whips her head to her boyfriend who was seated next to her. they were cramped up against hyejin's bed, her laptop planted between their thigh as they watched a drama that was recently released.

"i said what i said, jeong."

jaehyun only sighs in disappointment, shaking his head. he knows whatever he says next was going to be made fun by hyejin, he learned that from experience.

he rests his head on her shoulder, watching the drama with no interest. jaehyun isn't big on korean dramas, especially if it was romance. hyejin, on the other hand, was in love with rom-coms. but he couldn't say no to her now, could he?

"do you think it's going to snow today?" jaehyun questions, looking out the window. it was closed, yet it still felt a little cold in the room.

hyejin follow his gaze, "i'm not sure. i don't think it will."

"you're saying that because you hate the snow," smiles jaehyun, elbowing her side, "i think it will. i love the snow."

hyejin rolls her eyes, "you're going to make fun of me for saying this, but... winter has been a tiny bit better these days." hyejin lifts her hands, pinching her thumb and forefinger, until it only leaves a tiny gap between her fingers.

jaehyun feigns a gasp, instantly understanding what she meant, pulling away from her with a hand on his chest dramatically, "are you flirting with me, right now?"

"stop~" she whines, her eyes closing cutely, hitting the boy on the chest, "you're so annoying."

"i know," jaehyun plants a wet kiss on her cheek, "i'm glad i could make winter a little more bearable for you."

he feels guilty for saying that, knowing that he could drop the bomb any time now.

"oh my god, it's snowing!" hyejin exclaims, pointing to her window. jaehyun turns around, and true enough, there were little snowflakes hitting her window.

the boy beams, getting up from the bed, grabbing his jacket and hyejin's, passing it to hers. "come on, let's go out."

hyejin grabs jaehyun's hands, letting him drag her out of her house to play with the snow. they were acting like little children who saw snow for the first time. giggles leaving their mouth as they try to taste the snowflake.

since the snow had only arrive, they couldn't hit each other with snowballs just yet. it was a while after when the snow was thick enough for them to actually step on, the both of them leans down, drawing out hearts from either side.

hyejin bites back a smile as she uses her finger to write their initial in the middle of the heart. she stands up straight once she was done, wrapping an arm around her boyfriend's waist.

"your finger must be cold," he coos, taking the finger she used to draw in the snow, up to his lips, blowing air a few times until it was warm. he finally presses a kiss on the tip of her finger before pressing another kiss on her cold lips.

"your nose is really red," laughs hyejin, flicking his nose lightly.

he was so adorable, hyejin couldn't believe she has the boy to himself.
