"You know, you don't have to hold my wrist? You could just tell me directions or walk beside me if this is too much trouble."

"It's no trouble at all! Am I making you uncomfortable?"

"No, not at all. Just didn't want to cause you any trouble since you already put on such a beautiful performance and now you're helping me find a spot!" I smiled, "Honestly, this is one of the best days I've had in a while." I started chuckling afterwards.

Camilo's grip loosened before he too started laughing with me.

"Wow, I can't believe you just admitted that I'm the best thing to ever happen to you." Camilo kept laughing as he slowly moved his thumb up then back down my wrist.

And there goes my face again. I'm glad this blindfold covers a bit of my cheeks but I know for a fact he can see I'm getting red. I can't even cover my face with this basket in my hands so I'm just stuck and by the large amount of laughter coming from Camilo, it seems he is aware of this too.

"S-Shut up! That's not what I said! I said thanks to you, it's the best day. Not that you are what's,,, making- well"

"Wow, mi amor you really are making this worse for yourself."

"Mi Amor?"
Mi Amor? Mi Amor? Did he just call me- no. Surely not. I heard that wrong.

"Yep, that's right." Camilo said with another rub of my wrist.

"Stop doing that! You're making it harder to not get flustered!"

"You say that like it isn't the whole point" he laughed.

He's purposely trying to make me flustered? That's quite an interesting way to use your free time.

"We're here, you can sit right here." Camilo said while taking the basket out of my hands.

I plopped down where I was standing and Camilo started chuckling again.

"What's so funny?" I said, perplexed.

"Just the way you sat down. There was no hesitation or preparation- just down you went." He kept chuckling before I heard him sit beside me.

"Are you staying here with me?"

"Yep, can't skip out on a beautiful sunset with an equally beautiful guy. I'm winking at you, by the way."

I let out a sigh before moving my hands from my sides to my lap while turning my body a bit so that I could sit criss cross.

"It's kind of late though, isn't it? I'm sure you're busy, I'll be fine by myself. There's no pressure for you to stay if you don't want to."

"Well, I'll miss a bit of dinner but my family won't be too upset."

"If they're getting upset at all, then you probably shouldn't stay." I mumbled.

That's when the sun's warmth slowly started descending. I couldn't contain the pure joy I felt feeling the temperature slowly change to the quiet, chilly, blanket of night.

"You really are enjoying this, huh?"

"Of course! Sunsets are so cool!" I raised my voice a bit more than I meant too and Camilo seemed to be a bit taken aback by this before he started giggling.

"They are," he slowly stopped giggling, "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself so much!" Camilo whisper-screamed to me.

Is he making fun of me? I lifted my hand to the sun for a moment before quickly hitting Camilo on the arm.

"Hey!" He chuckled before playfully hitting me back.

"Thank you for bringing me here, Camilo." I smiled, not feeling the sun anymore.

"No problem, this is the spot I always come to so now you know my little secret." He said before I felt his breath on my ear, "don't tell anyone, alright?" His voice is still as cheery as ever even in that whisper.

"I won't." I whisper back. Camilo backs away before standing up.

"I've got to get back to Casita before my family starts looking for me, would you like to walk back to the path with me?"

"Of course! That would be really helpful, actually."

He picked up his basket and walked beside me this time, me just following the sound of his voice.

"Sorry that I'm not holding your hand this time, mi amor~" he said in a sly tone.

"No worries, there's always next time." I smiled, feeling my cheeks light up and my neck start to tingle again.

Did I really just say that to him? No, there's no way. There was no sound from Camilo so I stopped walking. Please say something.

"Yeah, there is always next time." He said in a hushed tone. Was he embarrassed? I did it!

"Did I beat you at your little game?" I smirked before he let out a cackle as I caught back up to him.

"No way, hermoso! We're just getting started, anyway here's the path." His hand left a side of the basket to help me step up onto the stone pathway.

"Thank you again, Camilo. I'll see you around?"

"Anytime and of course! Well- maybe you won't see ME around but I'll see you so-" slowly he trailed off before I couldn't contain my laughter. Tears started forming in my eyes, I was laughing so hard. I heard Camilo start to join in laughing too before placing his hand on my shoulder again telling me goodnight. I return the statement as I continue walking towards the area of my house.
