Bad timing leaves Smokescreen begging (Y/N) for forgiveness.

(Y/N) thought she had a great life even with the addition of being friends with an advanced alien robot race, plus she's dating one of them. (Y/N) knew Smokescreen loved her so much...

....until one day, she caught Smokescreen kissing another femme in the park while walking home from work. Even though she worried about how she's a human and Smokescreen is an alien robot, seeing him kiss another cybertronian still hurt her. She runs down another path, crying.

No one is around as she runs to her room at the base, crying. As she cries, she thinks about what she will do next.

(Y/N) had the next day off and was supposed to spend the day with Optimus. When she didn't meet him for a drive, Optimus decided to check on her, thinking she'd be in her room. Instead, he finds a concerning note and gathers all the Autobots in the main area.

"I found this concerning note in (Y/N)'s room," Optimus informs them, "dear Autobots, I have gone back home to my parents, thank you for your hospitality and tell smokescreen I said thanks for being his friend. Sincerely, (Y/N)."
Everyone but Smokescreen couldn't believe what Optimus read. He felt confused as tears rolled down his faceplate.

Smokescreen hoped (Y/N) would come back.
He waited two weeks before driving by her house.
(Y/N) is helping her parents carry groceries in the house when Smokescreen drove to the house. Using his holoform, Smokescreen walks up to (Y/N)'s mom and asks if he can talk to her.
"Depends if you came to argue with her after you cheated on her!" Her mom argues before resuming getting the bags out of the car.
I'll take that as yes, but don't argue with her. Smokescreen assumes as he walks up to (Y/N).

"Can I talk to you?" He asks
"Fuck off! Clearly, you realized dating a human isn't working and found a cybertronian!"
"I swear I love you and will do anything for you," Smokescreen tells her as tears roll down his face.
"Goodbye!"
(Y/N) opens the door, but before she can enter the house, Smokescreen grabs her arm and kisses her. (Y/N) didn't try to get away, rather she returned the kiss.
"You really mean it?" She asks once the kiss ends.
"Yes, I'm sorry."
Smokescreen knows no femme could forgive what he did so easily, and they have a relationship to repair, but happy (Y/N) will let him show her how much he loves her.  He's not sure if he should explain himself about the cybertronian femme or not.
