Season 2 Chapter 1: Mirrors of Lies

                                    

                                          
It was a Sunday morning and luckily Xyla was feeling better.
Well, she did have a bad morning like stubbed her toe on a chair and other unfortunate stuff.
Anyway, she peeked out of the door and saw the other girls talking in the living room.
Since they found out about Nysa being Xyla's mom even though if it's true or not. She was scared that her friends will turn her back on her and leave her.
'I need to get out here' said Xyla in her mind.
She didn't know what to do because if she leaves her room, the girls would see her.
She then thought of a plan. She lightly stomped her foot on the ground and a magical portal opened up.
'If I'm correct, this would hopefully work' said Xyla as she looks at it.
'Let's hope all the classes with Mr Stan works out' she added. 
'Transpotis Methomis' she said as she jumps into the portal that was created from the ground.
She then fell onto an icy block and almost slipped away.
'Where am I?' Xyla asked when she realised she isn't back home anymore.
She saw many mirrors on an icy wall. The entire place was covered with ice. 
'I should've dress for the weather' said Xyla as she shivers while walking towards the mirrors.
The mirrors showed some sentences she didn't bother reading.
She touched one of them and mirror started talking.
'Greetings, Princess Xyla' the mirror asked.
A shocked Xyla took a step back and realised the mirror can talk.
'Woah, you can talk and how'd you know my name?' she asked.
'Yes I can talk and I know everyone's name in the magic universe. It's kinda in my system' the mirror replied.
Xyla just nods. 'So what is this place?' she asked.
'This place is called the Mirrors of Truth. Here you can see dozen of mirrors awaiting your questions. They will give you the truth no matter what question' the mirror further explains.
Xyla nods at every word the mirror said. 
'But you have only one chance to ask so choose wisely. What is your question, Princess Xyla Windella?' the mirror asked.
She had two options going around in her head.
One: Asked whether her friends will still like her and be friends.
Two: Asked the truth about Nysa being Xyla's mom. 
She couldn't make up what to ask the mirror. 'I hate you, stupid indecisive brain' she said in her mind.
After some moments, she finally asked the mirror her question.
'Is Nysa my real mom?' she asked to the mirror. 
The mirror then shows her homeland 'Windella'
The mirror tells her to step inside. She obliges and steps inside.
It was a bright sunny day in Windella. The wind constantly blowing and everything was normal.
She then saw herself as a baby being carried by a woman.
'Is that me?' she asked. It didn't show her mother's face however. 
After that, a person stood in front of her. 
'Is that dad?' Xyla asked.
'The woman got up and talked to him while carrying a baby in her arms.
Xyla smiled at the scene.
The scene then switches to inside of the castle of what looks like a wedding ceremony with me as the flower girl. 
'Young me was adorable' Xyla stated while smiling.
They looked like they kissed and Xyla and her parents lived happily ever after.
'Atleast I know Nysa was lying' Xyla said as she steps out of the mirror.
'Thanks mirror' said Xyla. 'You're welcome, Princess Xyla' said the mirror as Xyla leaves. 
She lightly stomps her foot again. Transpotis Backamis' Xyla said as she jumps into the portal.
Once Xyla was gone, the mirror goes back into it's original form where you can read the rules of this place.
But the mirror has forgotten to mention one peculiar rule.
Back to Xyla...
She then fell on her back in her room. Luckily, the girls didn't hear anything.
She peeked out of the door and saw the girls looking worried.
Xyla was still nervous to go out there because her friends might judge her.
'Ugh, maybe I should've gone to the Mirrors of Self Confidence, even if it's a real place or not' Xyla said in her mind.
She closed the door looking at Jun and Hugh still there.
'Oh, hey guys' Xyla tried making a conversation but failed.
Jun and Hugh looked at her with a confused face.
'Look, I'm scared that they're going to judge me' confessed Xyla.
Jun then flaps his wings and sat on Xyla's shoulder. 
Jun started chirping and Xyla understands him.
'Maybe you're right Jun, they are my friends and they won't judge me right?' she asked last second.
Jun just nods excessively and so does Hugh.
'I didn't need the Mirror of Self Confidence after all, you guys are my confidence' said Xyla in her mind.
Xyla stands up as she takes a breath to herself. 
'You can do this Xyla' she kept repeating. 
She opened the door slowly but it made a creaking sound.
'Dumb door, why now when someone wanted to be sneaky' Xyla said in her mind.
The girls notices her. 
'H-Hey you guys' Xyla tried saying.
The girls all ran up to her and hugged her.
'Ok this is weird' she said.
'Where were you?' asked Harper. 'You weren't in your room last we checked' Sheila said.
'I just needed some peace and quiet' replied Xyla. 
'So you guys aren't mad at me or disgusted?' Xyla said as they pull away.
'Why would we?' Iris asked. 'Because the entire thing with Nysa being my mom which is totally lie I tell you' said Xyla.
'Of course we're not, you really think we trust a villain over our best friend' said Mina.
Xyla just smiles. 'Thanks you guys' Xyla said. They continued hugging as the chapter ends.
Meanwhile...
'What a happy day for Princess Xyla. Too bad I'm have to crush it tomorrow' a stranger says as he evilly laughs.
