"Diana, you're not joking, right?"

"I wish I was. Last night had been weird." Diana said, popping out a tablet from the bottle. Her left cheek still hurt upon moving the lower jaw.

"Did the news reach university?"

Kat's face dropped as she shoved two books in her purple backpack. That was the only answer she needed.

"How much do they know?" Apparently they could come after her for hiding the marital status. Also if they found out it was to the son of third richest family of the country could very well mean the death for her. She was here to escape from attention not draw more towards her. All because of that Nathan. Why couldn't he have just let me be? But also he would have done it to someone. And maybe they could have not been in the same strong footing as her. At least she was fortunate enough to have the upper hand from the first blow itself. Yet this was not her concern. It had been the anger of Tristan. He should have been happy to see her hurt. Then why was he going to end Nathan. Rather he would have provided she decided not to intervene. Diana witnessed a few deaths and that was more than enough to change the complete trajectory of her life and thought.

"No clue. We'll see it today."

Diana nodded at the bittersweet statement. Her eyes fell on the clock. It read - 7: 45 a.m. Her first lecture began in less than two hours. Ash's within an hour. Kat's timetable was empty for Wednesday. She had by-hearted their respective schedules in a matter of two minutes. Mainly because how similar the Monday, Tuesday and Fridays were for them.

"The label emailed us yesterday evening. It slipped my mind thanks to the dumbass. They have asked if it's possible to prepone the recording to next week. The payment will be double they say, followed by lifelong insurance cover. They will also enforce stricter rules for privacy."

The words hit her like a bolt. "What the....Next week. That's so early."

"I know. As it is we have to skip today's video...."

"What do you mean by skip?"

"Yeah, skip. Madam Johnson, you were this close to dying last night. Unless you're a superhuman, which you aren't, you need to rest."

"I'm good. Let's do it today evening. What's the worst that can happen? Its not like I lost my voice."

Ash's loud frantic screech hit the air. "Did you see my student card?" She entered the frame briefly, rummaging through the table top.

"No, dear. I think it must be in the stack of cards in the study."

"Searched it. Had the old one in there." Ash kept on ruffling the bed.

"Hey, did you check your bag? Maybe it slipped in." Diana put on a reassuring smile, in spite of the stress of late running through her mind.

"We're getting late.....I'm sorry." Ash left the room.

The blonde woman sighed.

"I hope we make in time." she said to Kat when there was a loud knock.

The wooden frame carved in floral designs was expensive and heavy. As slightly as possible, she parted it expecting it to be Sheila. Her eyebrows flew up when she saw the strong, broad-shouldered man in black. Will. At this hour.

"Good morning." his gruff voice proved business.

"Morning."

"How are you?" Will's face cracked into a smile. He had a slight oval beard, neatly trimmed at the edges as compared to his employer who always preferred to keep himself clean shaven.
