Ya girl Author-chan sucks at describing action, so skip through Team 7 trying to get the bells.
-Y/N's POV-
"Come on!" Naruto groaned. "I'm so hungry!"
Unfortunately, none of the three genin had been able to acquire one of the silver bells, and Kakashi had tied Naruto up to one of the thick wooden poles, like he had promised.
"Sasuke, Sakura. Eat your lunches. You're going to try again this afternoon. If you fail, you'll be sent back to the Academy."
"Remember," he cautioned them, "you are not to feed Naruto. If I catch any of you doing so, all of you will be sent back to the Academy. No protesting."
Poof! He disappeared. I swear, this guy has something for shadow clones. He really likes using them. In fact, I don't think we've actually seen him, just his shadow clones.
As Sasuke and Sakura pulled out their bento boxes and enjoyed the contents (Sakura's tomato sandwich for Sasuke still at the tree... R.I.P sandwich, can we get an F in the chat?), Naruto's stomach let out a piercing growl.
"Guys, I'm so hungry! Can't you feed me just one little rice ball?" he begged. Sakura shook her head and looked worriedly at him.
"Kakashi-sensei said not to, remember?" she reiterated Kakashi's warning. "I don't want to go back to the Academy!"
"But if we don't feed Naruto," Sasuke countered, "the team will be weakened and we won't get the bells."
"I suppose you're right, Sasuke-kun," Sakura sighed. I privately think that she didn't mean what she said in the slightest; she just wanted to attract Sasuke, somehow. Honey, how do you think agreeing with him will help? People will just take advantage of you.
Sakura picked up a rice ball from her pink bento box and lifted it to Naruto's mouth. He swallowed the thing in one gulp, he was so eager to finally get some food.
Thus, Sakura and Sasuke kept feeding him, and he eagerly accepted the food. I smiled a little at his unwavering enthusiasm and the fact that Sakura and Sasuke were willing to break rules for Naruto. Well, Sakura, not so much.
Suddenly, great patches of black clouds moved in and lightning flashed and thunder boomed. Kakashi, the real Kakashi this time, teleported in front of them.
"What did I say about not feeding Naruto?" he demanded.
-Skip through the dramatic bit bc ya girl doesn't remember it-
"You... pass," Kakashi said with a closed-eye smile.
"What??" Sakura wondered. "Why did we pass? I mean, I did faint... was that why I passed?"
*Cue Kakashi delivering his famous speech about how people who break rules are scum... but people who abandon their comrades are worse than scum*
"Yeah! Let's go and be ninjas!" Sakura whooped. "Right, Sasuke-kun?!"
"Right," Sasuke muttered. I had a big grin on my face as I leapt out from a leafy tree.
"Let's go!"
*Cue the very intense scene where everyone walked away and almost abandoned poor Naruto.*
