{Aspen's POV}
I have to hold back the vomit that threatens to arise.
Watching them drag Hudson's body out leaves me literally breathless.
I have to force myself to mechanically breathe.
But what I'm still confused about is where is everyone else? Why aren't they doing anything?
I've seen first hand every single one of these guys can fight. Not a single one surrenders. So where are they now? And why aren't they looking for me?
I'm about to turn around but a familiar face makes me pause. I spot Kalon downstairs. Relief floods me so fast, I find myself walking to the edge of the balcony. But, a second familiar face stops me.
Oslo walks up to Kalon, saying something to him that I'm too far away to hear. Kalon nods his head and Oslo pats him on the back, prompting Kalon to walk away and out of my sight.
The relief I felt a moment ago is long gone and replaced by dread, anger, frustration.
Oslo is the only one standing in the foyer right now and I guess I'm too close to the edge of the balcony. He suddenly looks up and me, widening his eyes in surprise before his face turns to a smirk. He waves at me mockingly.
I send him the middle finger.
"How about we talk, Aspen?" He calls out to me.
"How about I shoot you, Oslo?" I mock.
He shakes his head with a smirk.
"Notice how you're all alone?" He asks, catching my attention.
"Where is everybody?" I ask him with a frown.
"How about you come down and we'll talk about it?" He asks.
"Over my dead body."
"That can be arranged."
"F*ck you." I retort.
"That's inappropriate." I scoff at his words. "My friend Finn though, he might be interested."
I'm taken.
"He can suck a butt."
"That's a little rude." A new voice says, coming into view. It's Finn who looks at me strangely. frankly he makes me uncomfortable.
"So, you guys going to leave soon or no? Just wondering when I'll get my house back, you know?" I ask.
"Sorry doll, cant leave without you." Finn says.
"First of all, never call me that again." I scrunch my face at the nickname. Only Arlo can give me a nickname. "Second of all, that's not going to happen. Might as well save the time, and men." I gesture to the dead bodies still on the stairs.
"You can make it easy and come down here, or we'll come get you." Oslo threatens.
"I choose." I pretend to think, "Option C. Skedaddle."
