part of what makes ophelia so successful is her consistency, especially when it comes to youtube. she's always posted 1-2 days a week every week since she's started her channel. over the years, the days that she would post would change, but she always informed her fans and remained consistent. currently, ophelia posts a new youtube video once a week on wednesdays. the time that she posts the video is always some time between 11 am and 2 pm, but she's always been consistent.
tomorrow is wednesday, ophelia is currently finishing the editing for tomorrow's video. the time is 11 am and the final touches are coming together. she's sitting on her couch, daniel's sweats covering her body, bruce on the floor in front of her, her laptop in her lap, and a bowl of watermelon beside her.
she was completely focused until suddenly she got a text from a number she didn't recognize.

"babe!" just a few seconds later, daniel was taking a seat next to ophelia, a clearly worried expression. he didn't even get the chance to say anything before ophelia placed her phone in his hand and leaned back against the couch. "look at that shit."
"what the fuck," was all daniel could say as he read the texts over and over trying to assure his eyes weren't deceiving him. "do you have any idea who could've sent this? this isn't the bullshit with abigail and justin all over again, right?"
ophelia immediately shook her head, "definitely not. i blocked their numbers a while ago. it's most likely maya's petty ass."
daniel groaned, "i don't understand what her issue is with you. how does she even know that."
ophelia thought for a second, realization soon taking over her face, "she's been asking christian about us."
"what?"
"i was on facetime with christian on new year's eve, and he was telling me about how the honeymoon phase between them isn't there anymore, her true colors are beginning to show, and she's been getting nosey about our relationship."
"no way," daniel replied, lightly gasping with a small smile.
"yes way," ophelia smiled with him, laughing a bit. "he told me she keeps asking him when you're coming back home. he keeps telling her that you won't be back for a while, but she just keeps asking."
it's daniel's turn to laugh now, covering his mouth to keep from laughing too hard. after taking a deep breath, daniel asks, "is there anything else she asks?"
"he says she asked if we'd gotten into a huge fight and what it was about." the pair looked at each other in silence for a moment, shaking their heads.
"this really does feel like abigail and justin again," daniel said with a shake of his head.
ophelia shrugged, "yeah except she's older and has less common sense. i mean seriously, if you wanna harass me through the phone, at least be smart about it and don't blow your cover in the first text." this time last year, a text like the one she received would have really bothered her. it would have made her beat herself up, believe she was the problem, and she wouldn't have told anyone someone was bothering her. she couldn't help but be proud of herself, immediately she told daniel and her she is laughing about it. daniel noticed this too, and he couldn't be prouder of his girlfriend. she's come so far and has worked so hard in every aspect of her life, he's just honored he's been given the chance and he blessing to be by her side through all of it.
"so, should we tell christian?" daniel asked, draping his arm across the couch behind ophelia. "who knows if this is just the beginning of a big fiasco that you don't deserve to go through again, and christian shouldn't have a girlfriend who would do something like that to someone. especially if that someone is basically his sister."
she shrugs a bit, leaning her head on his shoulder, "i don't know, you know i'm not a big fan of getting involved in this kind of shit."
"well, it would be right of you to be involved. she's going after you." daniel reasoned, rubbing her shoulder. ophelia hummed in agreement, no ideas coming to mind. "how about this," daniel turned toward ophelia, her lifting her head to look at him. "let's all hang out tomorrow and see how she acts with all four of us together."
"alright, let's do it."
