Lizzie said as she stood by the door, now fully dressed in street clothes.

"Because we have something important to plan for your birthday and you can't be here when we're doing it." Qoya said. She had her phone in her right hand waiting for a text to come in.
"But why, I'll be bored." Lizzie said in a slightly whiny voice.
"You're going out with Scarlett and Aubrey..how will you be bored darlin?." Qoya moved closer to the pouting Lizzie, she didn't have to look down at her considering she was wearing heel boots that made her slightly the same height as Qoya.
"Because I'm going to miss you." Lizzie shuffled her way into Qoya's arms and nuzzled her head into Qoya's neck, smelling her scent.
"Well you'll be gone for a couple of hours and then we'll see you again baby." Qoya's phone buzzed and she looked down at her phone, still holding Lizzie.
"You have to go before you ruin the surprise." Qoya tapped Lizzie on the back to let go.
"But."
"Liz, honey..please." Qoya said with a giggle.
Lizzie huffed and crossed her arms once she detached herself from Qoya.
"Kari come give mommy a hug before your mother kicks me out." Lizzie said while she bent down a little.
Qoya gasped while Kari skipped her way over to Lizzie.
Kari raised her arms in the air so Lizzie could grab her. She lifted Kari up and held her flush to her chest, hugging her tightly and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Don't worry, you have fun mommy." Kari said with a smile and gave a wet kiss to Lizzie's cheek.
Lizzie chuckled and rocked Kari back and forth and exhaled.
"Okay fine, but I want to know when I can come back." Lizzie turned to her girlfriend who was texting on her phone.
"Alright everything is about set." Qoya then turned her phone off and pocketed her phone in her sweatpants. "And I will let you know." Qoya then took Kari from Lizzie, holding her to her hip to give Lizzie a sideways hug.
