"okay, remember. don't ask too many questions, no pity looks and don't bring up any stupid jokes that he wouldn't understand."
"this blows! you can't take away the flame this tiger bares." the red-head rolled his eyes
the group all blinked
"and erasing that quote from my memory." gina sighed, knocking on the door
"why don't you ask rick for some advice, he must be an expert in that department." ej chuckled whole-heartedly. but it was cut short when he saw the curly-haired girl and his cousin give him warning glares while seb, carlos and kourtney exchanged looks.
before gina and ashlyn could scold him, the door opened up to reveal the brunette girl who had a small smile on her face
"we brought pie!" seb beamed, showing the container
nini chuckled, taking it "thanks sebby," she lead them inside "i made some food and it's almost ready."
"good, i could eat a whole cow." carlos groaned in hunger, holding his stomach before catching the glare he got from his boyfriend "uhhh...i-er-i mean i could eat a whole...salad?"
seb nodded in approval, the eight of them all turned to see the curly-haired boy emerging from the little hallway that lead to the bedroom
"oh. hi." he said, blinking repeatedly "uh-"
"ricky, how are you?" kourtney asked comfortingly
"um...i'm okay." he nodded. he glanced at nini who caught how confused and uncomfortable he was she she spoke up
"ricky, these are our friends," she introduced "so, that's carlos and seb: seblos." she clarified to which he nodded "there's kourtney, ashlyn, big red and that's gina and ej."
"nice to meet you...or re-meet you." ricky corrected himself
the group apart from nini all smiled kindly and the brunette took a deep breath "right, well, let's go sit down right?"
she made her way towards the space where the table was, all of them sitting down and ricky searched the room, taking in each person who was supposedly an important part in his life. his new life.
"okay...so, how do i know you guys?" he asked
"oh, me, los and kourt with you at the recording studio." ashlyn nodded with a smile
"oh really?"
"yeah, we've been trying to record one of kourt's originals to try and use to promote the space." carlos explained
"that's cool." ricky said "how is it going?"
"it's going great, apart from the fact that someone keeps ogling another." carlos replied, giving a look towards the two girls who had suddenly found their table setting very amusing
ricky managed a little smile before ej spoke up
"and me and seb help nini with the café." ej explained "gi also works there but just part time."
"oh, yeah nini told me about that." ricky replied "is the café close?"
"yeah it's just down the street, so it's great for you." gina grinned
ricky knit his eyebrows together "huh?"
"you know? you'd perform down there every friday."
"no, i didn't know that..."
the table fell silent and ej opened his mouth
"oh...well, you do. or you did." he mumbled
"um, cool."
