Y/n's P.O.V.
I let my eyes slowly creak themselves open, wondering what was going on and how I was still alive. I sat myself up, feeling no pain. I grabbed my head as a random surge of pain engulfed it, groaning at the random impact. I slowly shook my head before opening my eyes once more. I look around me, seeing that I wasn't in Pogtopia, but instead the potato farm back at Techno's.
"Tech..?" I yelled out from my dull room. When I heard no response, I took it on myself to get up and out of bed. I let my feet slowly topple on the floors and stumbled myself out of my room. I looked all over the house, but didn't find Techno anywhere.
I stepped outside, the air was hot. Too hot. I walked through the tilled paths and looked around the farm, seeing nothing but dirt. I was confused to say the least, why was I here? And why is it so damn hot?
"Y/n...?" I heard someone ask. I turned around swiftly, practically almost giving myself whiplash. Wilbur stood with a confused expression, wearing his L'manburg uniform. I smiled with joy, had this whole thing been a nightmare?
I ran up to Wilbur and embraced him in a hug, one he was hesitant to return. I looked up at him, grabbing his shoulders and letting tears slip.
"Oh Wilbur, I had a terrible dream! L'manburg exploded and... and you did it and then you fell in front of me, dead!" I cried out. Wilbur's light brown eyes wondered in mine, confusion lacing every line. He looked around quickly before opening his mouth.
"Say, Y/n, are you in L'manburg right now, too?" He asked. I furrowed my brows, letting out a small laugh.
"L'manburg? No, we are at Techno's potato farm stupid!" I told him, punching his shoulder. I let a hand wonder up and adjusted my shirt collar and let any free sweat drift down. "And is it just me or is it incredibly hot?" Wilbur shook his head, grabbing my shoulders.
"Y/n, we're dead." I looked up at him with a confused look. I shook my head and looked around, before laughing.
"Um, no? What are you talking about Wilbur-?"
"Y/n, that wasn't a dream nor a nightmare. We died. We are now stuck in Limbo as the god of this world decides our fate." Limbo? What was he talking about?
"I'm sorry but I'm not following Wilbur..." I told him honestly. He took his hat off and ran a hand through his hair, clearly stressed. He closed his eyes and shook his head before grabbing my shoulders.
"Look, I know I'm dead, so that only means you are too. You can't see people in Limbo, only the area you hated and dreaded most. Right now I'm stuck in L'manburg post war. I can only imagine this place is going to taunt me by playing the war over and over again, for you? You might just be stuck on the potato farm, despite the urge you have to explore." He explained. I shook my head, pushing Wilbur off me.
Dead? How could I be dead? I was... No.
I had to get out of here, maybe Wilbur was the confused one. Yes, that's it. I gave him one last look before running in the direction of the Dream SMP. Surely, I'll be back there eventually.
After minutes of running, I realized that my environment wasn't changing, not one bit. I slowly stopped as I saw Wilbur standing on the path ahead of me, giving me a sad look. I skidded to a stop in front of him before I realized, he was correct. I felt tears pierce my eyes as I held onto him strongly.
"Then how am I able to... See you?" I wept out. He sighed, petting my hair gently while flinching at sounds going on in his own Limbo. He shook his head and laughed slightly.
