"that child never learns, does he?" winter shook her head in disbelief and went back into her room.

once sunoo was ready, his sister stared at him in awe and clapped her hands together excitedly.

"AHH!! MY BABY BROTHER IS GOING TO BE A MAN!!!" she screeched. "why're you rushing it, sunny? is it that urgent to confess?" winter pouted.

"i have some competition too," i said, fixing my cardigan slightly. "do i look good?"

"ooh~ of course you do baby bro. you can get her. believe in yourself, yeah?" the elder pat my shoulder.

"now come on! let's show mom how amazing you look right now~" she smiled, dragging me downstairs to our mother.

she looked stunned.

"my baby boy! so handsome. you go get that girl of your dreams! she's definitely worth it." our mother cheered and caressed my cheek.

"you still have enough time until 3pm, let's play super mario party?" minjeong suggested.

i nodded, since there was nothing else to do.

"how come you're always stepping on the lucky spaces?!" i whined.

"it's luck, sunny." my sibling replied, "but i'm getting useless items so.." she shrugged and continued playing.

"watch me lose the next minigame, too." i sighed, grabbing the joycon again and played the minigame with my dearest sister.

winters jaw dropped in shock as she faced me.

i threw on sunglasses and smirked.

"YOU'RE SO FULL OF YOURSELF!" she complained. "as you should though."

"duh." i flipped my nonexistent long hair and took of the sunglasses resting on my face.

"get those shoes on, the way to han river takes us long enough." jingling of her keys sounded throughout the living room as she stood up.

"meet me in the car when you have everything, yeah?" she took a small vest and put it on, going outside.

i nodded before she did and went into my room, checking to see if the way i looked was okay.

"will she like me back?" i asked myself, "she probably won't, since she hasn't dated ever since seongmin broke up with her. i can't get my hopes up high."

a sigh escaped my lips as i tugged both cheeks up, making me smile.

"even if she doesn't accept my feelings," looking at the mirror, my smile dropped. "at least i got something off of my chest.."

with a giddy feeling, i exited my room and put on my sneakers, looking at my mom who was reading a book in the kitchen.

"i'll see you later, mom!" bidding her goodbye, i heard her voice wishing me luck as i put on my shoes and exited the home.

~

winter and i were in the car.

songs were booming from the speakers of the car, winter was blabbering to me about university, the sky was blue and barely any clouds floated.
