From Levi's bed you watched Levi as he buttoned up his pants and pulled his Halloween costume back over his toned torso. You remained still in his bed, deep in thought of if you should just hide in his room or be an adult and go back out to the party you were dying to have for weeks. Levi's voice snapped you out of your head. "Stop worrying. I can take care of this. Just give me a minute out there and then you should be good to come back out and enjoy the rest of your party." His eyes roamed your face, trying to read if you believed him or not. You nod. "Yeah, okay. I'll be out there in a couple minutes then."

Levi grabbed the discarded Ghost Face mask that was laying in the floor across the room and began to walk out the door. As he walked away you remembered the two of you were in the middle of talking when Connie interrupted. "Oh, Levi wait!" He turned his head slightly as he walked, indicating that he was still listening. "Let's pick up on whatever you were going to tell me later tonight?" You softly asked. Levi turned his head back to the door. "Sure." He said with a small sigh that only he could hear.

You continued to sit in Levi's bed. It was silent, but you could hear the muffled voices and music from just behind the bedroom door. Levi's satin sheets were thrown messily in all directions of the bed, the pillows half hanging off the bed. You peered over the side of the bed to see your costume wadded into a ball, your handcuffs laying off the side of Levi's nightstand. You stretched your arms overhead and took a deep breath in through your nose, and exhaled through your mouth. "Okay. Let's make myself look presentable again." You said out loud as you crawled out of his bed and picked your clothing up off the floor. You shimmied your revealing cop outfit over your head, pulling it over your hips and letting it rest in place. You fastened your handcuffs back to your waist, feeling the heavy metal once again weigh down your outfit.

After getting dressed you made your way to Levi's mirror in the bathroom. You stared at yourself, studying your face carefully. Something felt different, but you couldn't place what it was, or what this feeling was. Your fingers ran through your hair as you attempt to fix what yours and Levi's passion had done to it. You drift into thought as you fix your hair. "We have hooked up before. There has never been a pressure to feel more like anything other than that. We've both made it clear. But this time...This last time felt different." You thought to yourself, pulling yourself out of your thoughts as you hit a knot in your hair and pulled too hard. "Shit."

You put yourself back together after coming undone from Levi's touch. You stood just inches away from Levi's door, your hand already on the cold doorknob. You bit the inside of your cheek, anxiously preparing for what may happen on the other side of the door. You had known survival from living on your own and in a car most of your life. However, you had never enjoyed conflict. Especially when the conflict may turn physical. After a deep breath, you turned the doorknob and was ready to face whatever was beyond it. You walked back into the living room. The guests were unfazed, still chatting amongst themselves as they drank and ate. Your eyes searched the room for a familiar face as you see Levi and Hange sitting at the barstools at the kitchen island, Hange was rambling away as Levi sat and faced forward as he drank. Mikasa was no where to be found. You sighed in relief. You smile at Armin as you pass him to head to the kitchen for some food. Armin smiled back, but you could tell it was forced.

From behind, you stick your hand in between Sasha and Connie as they talked in the kitchen, grabbing some chips to snack on that they were blocking. "Y/N! Are you having a good time at your party?" Sasha exclaimed, realizing it was your hands that had been trying to take her food. You smiled. "So far so good!" You happily stated, watching Connie's eyes widen and face redden. Sasha noticed his facial expressions. "What's up with you, baldie?" She narrowed her eyes as she questioned him. Connie glanced over at Levi, who was throwing daggers with his eyes at him as he drank tea and remained stone cold. Connie's face went from red to pale as he turned back to face you and Sasha. "Everything is fine. I'm fine. Dandy really. Just fine." He stammered as he grabbed a beer and began to chug it as he walked away toward Armin and Jean who were across the room. Sasha's eyebrows raised. "Okay then....." She quickly trailed off as she noticed Nicolo was back in the kitchen and began to cook some more finger food.
