BETH'S P.O.V
What the hell was I meant to tell her?
I slept with my fucking English teacher?!
My heart was being faster and faster every second.
"What do you mean?" I asked, running my hand through my hair.
"I know you didn't sleep at Lizzie's because her mother rang me this morning to ask where she was." my mum sighed.
She looked disappointed.
I had to think fast.
"I slept at Siva's house." I told her.
My mum raised her eyes at me, before frowning slightly.
Siva's mother and my mother didn't exactly get on for some unknown reason.
So I didn't need to worry about them talking to each other.
"Are you sure?" my mum asked.
I rolled my eyes but nodded.
"I slept at Siva's." I repeated.
My mum nodded and I quickly made my exit.
Well, I was happy that was over, though I knew I would be questioned about it later.
I glanced at David as I walked past him in the hallway, noticing he was staring at me.
I walked up to my room and sat on my bed before sighing. All I wanted was to be in Nathan's arms again, exactly how we were last night. I was happy.
I was happy when I was with him, even though most of the time it was in school.
For once, that was where I actually wanted to be. In school.

The weekend passed pretty quickly.
I had to text Siva to cover for me, in case our mothers do actually talk to each other, though I hardly think that would happen.
I walked into the form, wanting to see Nathan as soon as I could, for as long as I could.
Thankfully, no one else was in there, except Nathan.
He was sat on the edge of his desk, looking at his phone.
"Morning sir." I smiled slightly as I shut the door behind me.
He glanced up and smiled back, before turning back to his phone.
"Recovered from Saturday then?" I asked, a small smirk appearing on my face.
Nathan sighed quietly before putting his phone down and looking at me.
"Beth, on Friday and Saturday I was drunk. You can't tell anyone what happened." Nathan told me.
I nodded.
I already knew this.
"It didn't mean anything. Nothing happened between us, but you slept in my bed."
I frowned slightly.
"And you kissed me." I reminded him.
"Can we just forget that happened?" Nathan asked.
"No!" I shouted, raising my voice.
"How the hell do you expect me to just forget that? You told me I meant something more to you!"
"I lied, okay?!" Nathan shouted back.
I shut my mouth and sat on the end of the desk. Okay, that hurt.
"So, I mean nothing to you? Right?" I asked, though I didn't exactly want to know the answer.
"Exactly." Nathan mumbled. I didn't believe him, but I had no way to prove him wrong.
"You're nothing to me Beth. You're just some silly school girl and I was wrong to kiss you and I shouldn't have, but it didn't mean anything to me and when I told you it did, I was drunk." Nathan carried on.
I sighed quietly and blinked a few times as my eyes began to sting with tears.
"Fine." I mumbled, before getting up and walking out of the room and slamming the door behind me.
"Beth?" I heard a calming voice say.
I looked up and smiled slightly as I saw Siva.
"Come here." Siva said, pulling me close to him. I nuzzled into his chest and sniffed.
Siva's arms were tight around me, but I felt a little bit safe.
Not as safe as I did when I was in Nathan's arms, but it was the next best thing to be honest.
"What's up?" Siva whispered quietly.
I couldn't tell him.
How could I?
"I'm fine." I mumbled.
Biggest lie ever told.
Siva took his arms from around me and smiled as a boy, with a shaven head, walked up to us.
"Who's this?" I asked, looking at Siva.
"This is Max." Siva smiled, before he walked into the form.
I smiled at Max, as he grinned back. He had something cheeky about him that I liked.
"Hey." Max grinned again, offering me his hand. I shook it and grinned back, noticing his strong Northern accent.
"Manc, right?" I asked, pulling my hand away from his.
"Yep." He chuckled. "Ermm, Cheshire, I'm guessing?"
I nodded and smirked. Max smirked as well and walked into the form as I followed.
I quickly took my seat, not looking at Nathan as Max walked up to my desk.
"Does anyone sit here?" Max asked, suddenly turning shy.
"No! Lizzie isn't in." Siva cut in, before winking at me.
"You can thank me later." Siva chuckle quietly.
I rolled my eyes, but smiled as Max took his seat next to me.
I think I may have made a new friend.
NATHAN'S P.O.V
This was getting ridiculous.
I was bored of lying to Beth, I just wanted her to be mine.
I glared at the boy with a shaven head who was sat next to Beth.
At least she looked happy with him, but why did I feel so angry? As if she was cheating on me?
I felt as if my chest was getting tighter every time I looked at them.
Surely I wasn't jealous? How could I be jealous of some 16 year old kid? It was pathetic.
Maybe Beth was trying to make me jealous.
If she was, she was doing a good job.
I snapped out of my daydream as I noticed other people coming into the form and sat on the edge of my desk again.
After noting down who wasn't here, only Lizzie and Chloe, I stood up and looked at Max before signalling for him to come over to me.
Beth looked down at her hands, avoiding my pleading looks. All I wanted was for her t forgive me, but I don't think that would be happening with Max on the scene.
"Well, class. I'm sure you've all noticed that we have new student. His name is Max George." I said, scanning my eyes across the class, still noticing Beth was looking at her hands.
"And Max? You will be sitting next to Jay." I smirked slightly to myself. Jay sat further towards the front than Beth did.
And I didn't want him anywhere near Beth.
I wanted her to be mine.
And only mine.
