Kazuki POV

I walked into the classroom, with Miyake, who I had coincidentally met on the way. We talked a bit with each other, it was mainly about Kiyotaka. I went to my seat and sat down ignoring my classmates. I had spoken with Hiyori about books at length and we even set a meeting at the library for after school.

Sae had walked into the classroom, with a tense air, that had made the class raise their guards. I had already known exactly what it was about.

Sae started explaining to the class that Sudo, had gotten into a fight with Class C. The Class turned against him- even his so called friends started calling him out. I pitied the idiot. He had been aggressively stating it was self defence, and to the rescue came Hirata, Kushida and Karuizawa.

Once the three main figures of our class had decided to help him, the rest of the class had quickly started turning their tunes and supported Sudou. That's how our society is lambs following the shepherd.

Pitiful.

(Scene Break)

Sudou asked, more like begged, Suzune to help him she asked him why they targeted him, to which he answered:

"They're simply jealous that I'm so much better at Basketball then them."

Yeah he was arrogant and thought he did absolutely nothing wrong, he probably tried to brag to make Suzune impressed. She looked at me, sighed and said she'd help him under the condition she does it her way and he doesn't do anything stupid.

If anyone else had said that he'd probably be pissed but he looked at Suzune, as if she was a goddess and obediently agreed.

I had left the classroom and went to my library date with Hiyori. I had soon arrived at the library grabbed a book and sat down on a couch. Hiyori had quickly arrived and sat next to me.

"Good afternoon Hiyori." I spoke with a warm smile and patted her head.

"Hello, Kazuki-kun. I just heard about the fight between our classmates-"

"That doesn't matter. It has absolutely nothing to do with us and our relationship. Okay? So don't worry." I cut her off reading the meaning behind her words and assured her I simply didn't care.

"Ah... thank goodness." She said with a smile.

"I don't like involving the class battles with my personal relationships... well at least not this one." I told her as her cheek gained a red hue.

"Not this one..?" She asked.

"I'm fond of you Hiyori and I enjoy talking with you, you're the first person in this school I could properly make a connection too." I told her.

"... I'm sorry." She quietly spoke after a while of silence. "I'm so sorry." She said clearly as she looked at me tears threatening to come out her Violet eyes.

"What are you sorry about?" I asked her softly with a confused tone in my voice.

"...I knew who you where... and talked to you because of that, I thought I could... use you to help my class..." She spoke as she whimpered, in a moment of weakness.

"I know." I answered as she looked at me. "But I still enjoyed my time with you."

She started crying as I pulled her into my embrace. I inwardly smirked looking at the vulnerable girl and patted her head. All she needed was a few words and she broke down crying, so cute, so pure.

"You don't hate me?" She spoke still crying in my embrace.

"I don't. If you want we can start over...
I'm Kazuki Yotsuba, nice to meet you." I smiled at her warmly as she was still in my embrace.
