"Hey Dabi, do you think a healer could heal all your scars?" Toga chirped curiously, cradling her head in her hands as she leaned against the bar.
"Doubt it, besides, won't do no good if I just keep burning myself" Dabi shrugged, not really paying attention. He poured himself a drink as he glanced at Shigaraki's dirty bandages. The conversation didn't seem to be important to him. Wounds heal and if they didn't, you die. That's just how it worked, and he was okay with that.
"What about you Tomura? I know you just need a lil lotion but you think a healer could help your skin?" Toga asked, shifting her gaze to face the young leader.
"We need a healer for survival not to look good" Shigaraki growled, scratching at his neck, absolutely annoyed Toga was being so childish.
"The only trouble is healers are usually hero types, it will be most difficult to find someone who'd consider helping us" Kurogiri said.
"You just gotta know where to look! We should just forget about it" Twice said both enthusiastically and pessimistically.
"We can't look too far, our best bet is to find someone around here" Toga said. If they went too far, they'd end up on the 'good' side of town and no one would want to help them over there.
"Clinics and hospitals are probably a good place to start. Can we get a hot nurse?!" Twice said bobbing back and forth, talking to himself.
"Toga and Dabi are on recon, ask around and check people out. If you think you found someone lemme know. I'll be in my room" Shigaraki said, limping away with Kurogiri's help.
"Why do I always get stuck with the kid" Dabi sighed before finishing the last of his drink.
"Yeah I wanna go with Toga and look for the hot nurse! Better to have someone who can hold a normal conversation" Twice said.
"You hold conversation so well Twice! I love talking to you!" Toga bounced up and down.
"Really? Well, I am a lady's man. No I'm not" he grunted sternly at the end.
"Yo little psycho, let's get a move on" Dabi said, hopping over the bar to leave.
"Bye-bye Twice!" Toga waved while she skipped after Dabi.
"Later Doll. Bye" Twice nodded.
Toga joined Dabi out onto the sidewalk and crossed the street when he crossed, he always silently took the lead and that was fine by her. She was just happy to go along for the ride most of the time.
As they passed more and more people, Dabi took a black cotton mask and slid it around his ears before lifting it as high as they would go under his eyes. The mask and the long sleeves he always wore to hide his arms helped him blend in. Toga was lucky she never had that problem. Her cute hair and school uniform kept her from looking like the blood-thirsty, ravenous girl she really was.
"You like wearing that mask?... I don't really like wearing 'em unless they're cute" Toga added the last part lazily.
"Gotta hide this ugly mug" Dabi shrugged. He really didn't feel like talking but he'd grown used to her random questions.
"I know you say it's pointless but I really do think someone could fix your guys' skin," Toga pondered simply, turning her head to scan the buildings. "Look, an urgent care. You think we'll have any luck?"
If Dabi were being honest, he didn't have high hopes for the clinics and urgent cares. He was already planning on going to the nearest emergency room since they're the ones who dealt with the serious shit. He shook his head at the question, "we're almost to the hospital. There's more people there, someone's bound to be a healer" he said, walking right past the urgent care.
