I've been laying in bed all day, I couldn't fix myself to shiver or anything, a lot of the blood had dried up and I felt disgusted in myself, I try not to think about how much blood coated my body and I wanted nothing more than to hop in the shower and scrub it off. 
But I couldn't. 
I couldn't even move, I could barely breathe and my head had been pounding for the longest, I can't eat... I don't want to. 
My phone has been blowing up but I've been too tired to check it but I know it was from Kai wondering why I wasn't calling him back, I'm guessing from Jess too because I missed work today without calling out or anything. 
Despite the pain that shoots through me a reach into my back pocket and pulls out my cell phone groaning as I try to do so, I finally get it out and rest my arm before opening my eyes. 
I take a deep breath before slowly unlocking the phone and going through my Messages, there were hundreds of missed calls from Kai and about 30 from Jess and some friends. 
I check my messages to see the hundreds of texts I've received from Kai, I sigh and scroll to the top ignoring the pain that begins forming in my arm once again. 
Kai.
"Call me tonight." 
"Why aren't you answering?" 
"Baby..." 
"Did I do something?" 
"Ava... please answer." 
I let a sob break out of me as I read the messages, I wanted nothing more than to tell him what happened but I knew I couldn't, his uncle would hurt him and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something were to ever happen to him. 
I blinked my tears away before I continue to scroll through the messages, most of them demanding me to answer the phone and some others asking what he did wrong and apologizing. 
My heart pains as I read the messages, I scroll through every single message before I finally reach the bottom and my heart skips a beat as I read the most recent message. 
"Ava are you okay?." 
"I'm coming home." 
And with that last message that was sent an hour ago I swipe out of our messages as tears begin to well up in my eyes again, he was coming home because I didn't reply. 
I couldn't even text him back to tell him not to come back but who knows what his uncle is capable of, he might know that I texted him and... and besides, knowing Kai he's probably already on a plane back.
I continue to scroll through my phone realizing I've gotten texts from Jess, Erica, Nico, and Kyrie as well, I sigh and turn my phone off before curling up again under my covers. 
I couldn't control the sobs that shook out of my body, I feel weak and disgusting. 
After a while of crying I stopped, I couldn't cry anymore but the pain was still there, my eyes became heavy and I shut them and fell into a deep sleep.

I'm woken up when I hear my doorknob rattling downstairs and my heart drops. 
What if someone is trying to break in? 
I tightly shut my eyes. 
God, if they're here to kill me make sure they do not find my collection of Kai's shirts I've been secretly stealing. 
Don't judge me he has enough. 
Oh god, now I'm hallucinating I let my eyes fall open noticing it's daytime, the rattling of the door stops, and now I'm hallucinating footsteps.
