After many attempts of getting her to sleep downstairs or at least stop her crying Jim and her mother gave up and just went to sleep. Lady moped sadly in the cold room as she heard footsteps heading towards her room. The door opened and she lifted up her behined wagging her tail.
"Lady... sweetie are you in there?" (Y/n) whispered into the room and chuckled quietly as she felt small paws clumsily collide with her slippers. "There you are you lonesome thing. Come on you can stay with me." She whispered once more picking up the puppy and stepping up to her room. Once she got into her room she made a small bed by the door of her room by placing out pillows embroided for her by her aunt. She looked back around to see lady stood on her chair sniffing the many study books she had laying flat open on her vanity.
"Oh, Lady you silly pup. Come on now, to bed." She kissed her head and placed her carefully into the makeshift dog bed and closing up her study books.
Quickly, she shifted around to prepare some cloths for the next day, gently humming.

•○•A eighteen year old male with greyish-black hair walked through alleyways and streets a grey mixed breed terrier trotting on by his side. The man wore a grey shirt with black suspenders that were for short words oversized on his slightly lean figure, he had muscle but it wasn't exactly visible.
As he walked down the street he heard a quaint sound from one of the houses. The snow had now stopped as he looked up at the house. He wanted to see, who was humming so he could maybe throw out a compliment or catch a quick flirt. If they were his age that is.
He walked around the side into a tight fitted bend to the side view of the Dear home. He looked up noticing the sound being much more closer. He peered through the upstairs window as best as he could, his puppy sniffing in the snow. The man then saw a young woman, who seemed around his age placing some cloths down onto a side. She proceeded to shut the window and curtains, not noticing him at all.
"Well, ain't she a dame huh Butch?" He looked down to the grey puppy, who looked up at him confused. The man chuckled picking up his dog and walking off. "Maybe I'll actually talk to her someday. Nah she'd be too good for me." The dog did nothing but scratch his ear as they both wondered away.

•○•6 months later
Lady yawned and stretched her now larger body, shaking off her tiredness. She hopped out of her now proper dog bed and jumped onto (Y/n)s, nudging her nose into her (h/c) hair and tugging on her canary yellow nightdress. "Alright lady I am awake." She laughed as she placed Lady on her floor and got to making her bed.
Lady ran out of her room and straight to her parents room. She woke up Mrs Dear and proceeded to wake up Mr Dear by lifting the blanket. He got up a hurriedly placed his feet into his slippers with the guidance of Lady. "All right, Lady. All right. I'm up. I'm up, Lady. Oh, no." He yawned out before falling bat on the bed.
Lady ran up to the window as Darling spoke in worry. "What's wrong, Jim? What is it?"
"Can't you explain to Lady about Sundays?" Jim layed on his back as Lady ran downstairs and outside, running through a flock of resting crows, and burying a bone under a now ripped up flower.
She soon trotted along to her owner, who sat by a small shed in the back reading a story to her self. "Hello there, Lady. How has your morning-" before she could finish her sentence she looked up and saw a figure watching her from behined a fence, intently may I add.
Lady, sensing something odd from the man, began barking and the man ran over the fence and out of sight. "Deary me. How frightful." (Y/n) muttered anxiously pinching the hem of her maroon skirt which had a white collard shirt tucked into it.
The newspaper soon arrived. "Go on Lady give it to father." The young adult patted her head as she left to go inside herself. Lady nodded to her owners back and rushed inside almost knocking her over.
She got through the doggy door ripping a good chunk of the newspaper and gave it to Jim. Jim opened it up and reached through the large tare to his cup of tea. "Have you noticed, Darling, since we've had Lady, we see less and less of those disturbing headlines?" Jim brought up in conversation.
"Yes, I just don't know how we ever got along without her." Darling answered as Jim poured his tea into her drinking bowl and Darling placed a donut in Lady's mouth.
"Say, she must be about six months old. We'd better be getting her a license." Jim said as Lady ate her donut and drank the tea.
"Where is (Y/n)? Didn't she say she would come have tea with us?" Darling wondered.
"She's up in her room reading another book again. Even though it's her day off she's studying and not going to meet new people." Jim expressed his annoyance with her actions.
"I am a bit worried about her social life. If she keeps this up she'll never be married." Darling sipped at her tea with a scowl on her lips.
"Well, unfortunately if that comes to the case we'll have to take up into our own hands." Jim sighed as he heard a thud from upstairs he didn't bother to look up however.
(Y/n) stood at the top of the stairs with panic on her face. 'What does that mean?...'
