-Present-
It was finally prom, and the entire day was a mess. I woke up late, spilt smoothie over my shirt so I had to change, my car then broke down mid road, I missed an entire period, and I had a quiz for my second period which I hadn't studied for.
The girls were bunking today so the guys and I decided to head out for lunch since we had a half day anyway. A bee chased me around resulting in me dropping my lunch and after finally eating and heading home completely exhausted.
I took a nap for about 2 hours then woke up and started getting ready for the last prom of my life.
I was all ready and met up with the boys while we went to Myra and Mads' house to pick the girls up. I felt a weird sense of deja vu waiting with the boys for another hour waiting for the girls to come down.
I was snacking on kit kat when I heard the girls giggling filling the hall. All of us rushed to the stairs in anticipation as they paraded down the stairs.
Selene came down first, all the girls minus Popcorn are like my little sisters. It's like I have 7 little sisters. Selene looked stunning in the pink dress, baby pink make up and her hair falling down in this intricate half up half down.Eric, who wasn't really much of a PDA person, widened his eyes and tackled Selene with a kiss.
Trixy came down next, with her silver dress and I've gotta say she looked stunning. Her hair was in a loose braid crown type and had shimmery make up to highlight her sharp features Quite literally she was stunning. Paxton's eyes shone as he smiled warmly at her and helped her down the stairs, giving her a quick peck on the lips.
Amyra paraded down, shying away in her pretty lilac dress with a massive smile plastered across her face. Her hair was in curls flowing till shoulders. Leo grinned wider at her and gave her an extremely massive hug knowing she's shy when it comes to PDA.
Mads gave us an extremely dramatic entrance, I'm convinced she got her little brother to put smoke bombs at the enterance of the stairs. We love her for her dramaticness though. Her straight, bold makeup fit her stunning red dress perfectly. Alex looked at her like his entire world was placed right in front of his eyes and it took him a solid 5 minutes to move on from the haze and kiss her.
Aria came down next, and looking at her warmed my heart. Her hair was up in a bun and make up muted. I've always, always looked after Aria as my younger sister ever since we were kids and I was naturally very protective of her.
The sense of deja vu was running high but looking at her so grown up since I met her made me feel a wave of nostalgia. She looked extremely elegant as she walked down, Rowan looked just as amazed with his eyes brimming with love and adoration for Aria.
I'm glad she met and found Rowan, he'd always be there for her and I can trust him. Trust that my little sister is in the safest hands possible.
Popcorn came down next and the air was knocked out of me. Her hair fell down in soft curls down to her waist and her eyes had a pretty blue shadow. She looked absolutely stunning and hot and pretty and cute all at the same time.
The blue looked exquisite on her and the way it was so simple yet so perfect for her. My eyes wandered all over her and god she looked so good. It took me a while and several deep breaths for my body to work again.
The butterflies in my stomach fluttered around and my heart was beating faster than how I ran from the bee today. I grabbed her hand and pulled her in for a very long kiss. We both pulled apart completely flustered and breathless and grinned at each other.
We gave them their corsages, took a concerning amount of pictures, and finally headed to our venue.
The first thought that ran through my mind when entering the venue was that our school genuinely out did every other year of prom ever. The place looked absolutely stunning, a burst of whites, golds and blacks.
The colours being our school's colours always complimented each other perfectly. We walked in, talked to our friends, danced around, ate the best food I've had in an extremely long time.
The dance was winding down slowly and we were all getting exhausted. So our student committee came forward and showed our memories over the years. There were several pics of our gang in the canteen with fries from our mouth like we were vampires. Another of the boys and I in our football match with the girls cheering us on.
Then there was one with all of us, our entire grade in front of our school. I'd never forget this grade, although I wasn't there for half of it, I'd always love this school and the people sitting with me in this room. Walking through memories, all of us smiled and laughed as we joked over them.
We were getting ready for our final dance. I went to Poppy, bowed to her and asked her, "Can I have the final dance?". Little does she know that I had something to ask her.
She smiled at me and nodded as I took her into my arms and swayed softly to the music.
A/n I feel sad now that I know the end's going to come in a few chapters. I'm probably gonna have 5 more chapters. This saddens me since it's getting over so soon. Our ranks and views are climbing everyday and I have no one to thank but you guys for showing me so much love, for showing my serotonin so much love. Thank you and love you all sm :)
