One Day Later ;

Your hands became raw as you tightly gripped onto your horses reigns, bombs shattering in far distances.

You flinched with every explosion, your black uniform clinging to your skin as you gritted your teeth. Your vision was blurred from dust and rubble, intoxicating your lungs with every deep breath.

You glanced over to your younger brother, Eren.

"Y/N!" You heard Eren's voice yell beside you to get your attention as you glanced at him in the corner of your eye, "Hange and Mikasa have gone left to station themselves near the trees! We need eradicate all nearby titans to create a plain in the area!" He reminded you of your mission, recognising the desolate look in your eyes as you nodded, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah! Just a 'lil distracted, that's all! I'm fine!" You yelled back, "Where do you want me to go?"

He looked straight ahead, beginning to slow down his horse as you did the same, realising you were both about to begin fighting.
"You take the larger group to your right: I'll do left."

"Got it!"

"Yell for me if you need back up!"

You nodded once again, before hopping from your horse, speeding in the opposite direction. Your feet skidded on the floor, your thighs aching; your heart pumped at a rapid speed.

As you left a large group of soldiers (finally alone) you felt safe enough to shift, raising your fingers to your lips before you felt your body grow larger, veins and muscles velcroing around your arms and legs.

Your neck arched - enjoying the height you had against the rest of the world.

Your E/C eyes scanned around the area, depicting different faces, species and wildlife. You wondered where the Levi Squad was located; you wondered fine was okay.

You hadn't spoken to Levi since the previous night.

You didn't wish eachover 'good luck' like you usually did before battles; you didn't even glance at each over as you left. He was a stubborn person; the trouble was, so were you.

But on the bright side, you'd found that the more powerful your emotions were during battles: the higher your performance was.

Your skin slowly camouflaged into your surroundings.

You forced your body forward; you sprinted into the large group of titans that your brother was referring to. You outstretched your arms, forcing them to grab hold of the napes of two, ten-meter titans.

Your jaw clenched as you began carefully eradicating of the titans in your area.

Your mind was distracted, constantly flickering back and forth between the mission and between your argument with Levi.

You pondered on if you could you even call it an argument? It was partially one sided, with only you seeming affected by it at the time.

You felt your heart pound intensely, your mind flickering from being angry, to being upset, to just missing him.

You didn't like waking up with him not by your side: your arm extending to hug Hange without realising that it wasn't Levi, purely out of routine.
