"So, you children are the digidestined? You must be strong to have defeated Devimon." The man said.
"Who are you?" Tai asked.
"Are you a friend of Devimon's?" Matt asked.
"Fear not, for I am a friend to all, and yet I am a friend to none." The man answered.

"I can't believe it, there are actually other humans beside us in this world." Sora said.
"I am human, and yet I am not human." The man said.
I raised a brow.
"This is confusing." Mimi said.

"Hmph! No, my name is Gennai. I couldn't send you this transmission during your battle with Devimon, but now the lines are clear and only ten cents a minute." The man explained.
"And just where are you?" Izzy asked.

"I am speaking to you far away from File Island, across the ocean on the continent of Server." Gennai answered.
"Talk about a long distance call, how long have you been here?" Sora asked.
"Since before the beginning and until after the end." Gennai answered.

"Are you the one who got us stuck here in the digital world?" Mimi asked.
"It was not I." Gennai answered.
"Then who was it?" Mimi asked again.
"It was.... I don't know." Gennai shrugged.
We all groaned.

"But Mr. Gennai, sir. Do you know what we need to do so we can all get back home again?" TK asked.
"No, I don't." Gennai answered.

"Boy, you're a regular fountain of information, aren't you?" Tai sassed.
"I'm sorry I can't help you, but you can be of help me." Gennai said.

This we didn't expect, how could we help someone so far away?

"Please come to Server and defeat our enemies, as the digidestined, I have faith in all of you." Gennai said.
"That's crazy when we don't know your exact location." Izzy protested.
"Good point, I forgot you're from out of town. Let me create a map for you on your computer." Gennai said.

"What if your enemies are humungazoid? Do you think we cat beat anything tougher that Devimon?" Joe asked.
"Not presently, but if your digimon can digivolve once more, you might be able to do it." Gennai explained
"So we can digivolve even more?" Agumon asked.

"But you'll need something special to do it," Gennai explained, his image faded away and was replaced by an odd necklace and some sort of small card, "If you have the tags and crests, your digimon will be able to digivolve even further."
"Please tell us where we can find these tags and crests." Gabumon said.
"Well the crests are scattered about, you can locate them throughout the continent of Server. And the tags were secretly sealed away somewhere by Devimon." Gennai explained, the image of him appearing again.

Suddenly his image began to falter.
"Oh no, Devimon! You must come! Ahh!" He shouted.
"What's happening?!" I asked.
"Come quickly! I'll be waiting on Server!" Gennai shouted.
His image faded away completely, leaving us all worried.

"He's gone." Tai said.
"What was that?" Mimi asked.
Izzy pulled out his computer and started typing.
"Gennai's transmission ended rather abruptly." Tentomon said.
"Well, at least he was able to send the map through before he got cut off." Izzy said.
"I hope he's alright." Sora said.

"With that said, what's our next move?" I asked.
"I've got a foolproof plan. First we'll eat something and after that I'm open to suggestions." Tai smiled.

We went down to a waterfall to rest for the night. I went down by the water and started unwrapping the bloody bandage that was on my arm.

"Woah, that looks like it hurts." Tai said, kneeling beside me.
"Not really, it looks worse than it is. It's not that deep, just hit a vein pretty good." I shrugged.
