Kim Minju is in love with Honda Hitomi.
She doesn't know why, all she knows is one morning, when she saw Hitomi greet her with a bright smile, her heart and mind had decided that it's a sight she wants to see forever,
wants to witness,
wants to protect.
wants to keep.
Minju have an idea how, though.
The one who cheered her up when she felt like she's being drowned by too much pressure— t'was Hitomi.
Staying by her side, gently rubbing her back as she cries all her sadness,
She was the shoulder she leaned on when her head felt too heavy from melancholy.
“Do I even have a place in this world— because it seems I don't.”
“So what if you don't, you have one in my heart, Min... don't give up.”
Yuri and Nako was there, too. But Hitomi was different, she made her heart skip a beat more than how her exes did combined, and it's saying a lot.
“Oy.”
Minju blinks, head looking up to see Yuri, arms half-stretched to give her a water bottle.
“Ah, thank you.” she smiles, taking the water from Yuri and drinking it, immediately gulping down the water due to tiredness. Dance practices always drains her energy.
“Who you thinking about?” the question stays in the air for a while, for as long as how Yuri took her time to sit beside the taller.
“No one,“ Minju answers once Yuri is comfortable enough with her sitting position, her eyes darted to the side when Yuri only hums, disbelieving.
“I wasn't informed Hitomi's name had changed to no one,” says the hamster, rolling her eyes when her response wasn't returned. “You really be lying to me when your face literally had it's I'm thinking about Hitomi expression.”
“I have an expression like that?”
“I have pictures— about a hundred.” Yuri takes her phone from her pocket, waving it in front of Minju, ”wanna see?“
”Definitely not.” Minju grimaced.
“Suit yourself,” Yuri shrugs, putting her phone back to where it was, “how was your date by the way, did you have fun?”
“Fake date,“ Minju correct, her lips smiling bitterly at the first word, “and yes, t'was fun,”
“exhilarating, rather.”
The bitter smile turns somewhat sweet, genuine even, and Yuri who saw the change from her peripheral, feigns disgust, however, there's a hidden happiness beneath her unimpressed stare.
“Do tell,” she says, coaxing the girl to share the story of her and Hitomi's trip at the mall, forgetting her prior disgust altogether.
“We just went to shop and all, eat lunch and breakfast together, then we visit the cinema, where Hitomi may or may not almost killed me from her cuteness, we bought some gifts for her patient, too—”
“May or may not killed you huh, then why the fuck are you still here sitting with me?”
“Shut up, want me to continue or what.”

“Are you sure I need to wear this?”
“Not exactly sure, but you look cute on it so it's fine.”
