I was on the bus with Nellie and we were on our way to school. The bus was packed but thank God the bus was empty when we got on. The bus came to a halt and I heard the doors open and a bunch of people from the upper deck flooded off the bus and a loud group of white kids jumped on the bus in their ugly green uniforms. Two girls sat in the seats in front of me giggling at something on one of their phones. I turned around in my seat and faced Nellie who was sat behind me.
                          
"What lessons have you got today?" I asked and watched her pull her planner out from her bag
                          
"Erm... double English, music, RE, science and Spanish." 
                          
"Wait for me after school." I said and she nodded and stared out of the window 
                          
Our stop was near and I pressed the bell then waited for Nellie to get herself ready before making my way downstairs. Just as I was going down the stairs I heard something that caught my attention and I crept back up the stairs and leaned against the yellow railing.
                          
"... one girl named Davina apparently, all the boys are talking about it... I heard that she goes to that horrible all girls down the road from our school." My attention was drawn to a petite blonde girl who sat in the corner with her phone held up to her ear
                          
The blonde girl giggled. "I bet she's like the rest of them... they're all loud and ratchet."
                          
She needs to fix that birds nest on her head first 
                          
I loudly scoffed and the girl noticed because she was quick to look at me and hang up the phone. Shoving it in her bag, she gave me a fake smile and I kissed my teeth before making my way downstairs. "Nellie, hurry up!"
                          
"Ashawo!" I stepped off of the bus 
                          
It was too early to be all moody and grumpy with people so I didn't bother thinking about that silly girl anymore. Nellie locked her arm with mine and we walked down the road talking about people in our school. 
                          
"Do you know how to jerk?" Nellie asked as we approached the school gates 
                          
"What's that?" I replied and Nellie screamed
                          
We entered the gates and met up with my friends who were waiting for us at a bench next to the muga. Nellie sat in between Cheyenne and Anna, and I sat on the arm rest. Sarah, Niyah and Kayla walked through the gates shortly after and were debating on wether Chris Brown was sexy or not.
                          
"Morning, can you guys believe that Kayla said Chris Brown is ugly?" Niyah shrieked
                          
"He's not all that" Kayla shrugged in defence 
                          
We all gasped. Chris Brown was sooo sexy and I took serious offence whenever someone disrespected him. How dare she?
                          
The bell rang and we all parted different ways. Nellie stopped to show me her 'Jerk' dance and everyone in the corridor hyped her up. A teacher disrupted our fun and shouted at us all to get to lessons before we were marked late. I scurried off to my first lesson which was Physics and sat down in my seat next to my partner Abigail. 
                          
Our teacher wasn't in today meaning that we had a supply so everyone used this as a time to mess about. If a teacher walked in right now and caught us then we were all in big big trouble, especially because we're in year 11 and meant to be an example for the younger years. 
                          
My phone buzzes in my blazer pocket and everyone turns around. Everyone watched me as I fumble my hands around my pockets while searching for my phone. 
                          
"You lot ain't never heard a blackberry ring before? Turn around and do some work." I rolled my eyes
