Three Weeks Later ;"Y/N?"
Knock! Knock!
"Y/N?"
Knock! Knock!
"Y/N!" Onyankopon finally snapped from the other side of your bedroom door, earning a defeated sigh from you, "Let me in.."
"I'm trying to work." You murmured back to him, hearing the door creak open.
He tilted his head, giving you a condescending glare, "You've been doing work all week. You deserve a break.." Onyankopon offered you a small smirk, opening the door of your wardrobe as you felt your lip curl up into a small smile, "Come on, wear something nice."
"Where are we going?"
He beamed weakly, "Anywhere you want to: it'll help get your mind off of Levi. Hange's gonna come, too."
Your head slowly sunk back down onto your desk, hearing the rustle of clothes as your closest friend skimmed through as your expression swiftly dropped at the sound of your boyfriends name.
He turned over his shoulder, his smile slowly fading at your pursed frown: "Hey, you alright?"
"Just miss him, that's all."
"That's understandable." The man nodded, before finally turning his back to the wardrobe, "I'm sure a few drinks will help you feel more at ease."
You laughed, "You're the worst influence.. you know that, right?"
He raised two fingers, just an inch apart as if to say 'just a little'.
You lowered your head, running his fingers to the back of your neck as you ran your palm down to your shoulders. You massaged your tense muscles.
"I guess a night out does sound good right now.." You felt yourself weakly smile, "I've been drowning in work for the past few days, and it'd be nice to have a good distraction from Levi being gone."
You felt your face soften, "Yeah, that sounds good."
You'd had no communication with Levi over the past four weeks. Any letters would take too long to send, not to mention that his location was constantly changing. Being away from him was harder than expected: and you already knew that it was going to be difficult.
His face lit up before he glanced to the clock, raising both hands, " 'aight, cool; meet me and Hange at eight?"
You gave him a nod, before hearing he closed the door behind himself before leaving to change his clothes.
You let out a slow sigh, arching your back against your desk before standing up and dusting off your shirt, deciding to go and bathe before you left.
You placed either hand in the pockets of your jacket, closing your bedroom door behind you as the cold, autumn-nights air consumed your every inch.
You instantly shivered.
Your feet tapped before you pressed your palms together, feeling a combust of friction grace your skin before swiftly pressing your hands against your thighs to warm yourself up.
You shivered once more, before slowly walking along the creaking floorboards to meet with Hange and Onyankopon. Your eyes lit up as you saw them leant against the wall, before your hand raised to say hello.
"Hey, Y/N!" Hange instantly beamed, walking towards you with open arms as their hands swiftly fidgeted with the rims and buttons of your jacket, "You look so great!" Their voice was warm and soft, making you feel hazy inside as your expression weakened.
