Yuno gave Asta a smile of congratulations. Yes, he really wanted to beat Asta and yes, he was hoping for it for a long while. But then he realized, that GDH has already recieved enough praise for being the highest and most elite school for upperclassmen. He knows very well that this is Black Bulls High's time to shine.
"Y-Yuno...? Are you mad...?" Mimosa asked.
"No." He replied. "Not at all."

It was finally Monday. Asta walked down the hallway, greeting every person he comes across. He saw people whispering about things. I wonder what's the gossip about? He thought to himself.
He then noticed Luck and Magna by their lockers. Magna shut his locker as he told Luck, "No way--"
Luck nodded. "Mhm!"
Asta walked up to them. "Hey guys... what happened? I've been hearing a lot of talk lately..."
Magna grabbed Asta by the shoulders. "You won't believe it Asta~! I'm a run for words right now--"
"Huh?! What is it?!" Asta asked.
"Our standing-- Novachrono improved our status and now we won't be seen as last anymore!" Magna shook him and then stopped as Asta stared with a surprised expression on his face.
"What?! You're kidding--" Asta told him.
"No joke! We actually made it... to second place!" Magna hesitated as if he couldn't believe it himself as well.
"WHAT?! NO WAY-- I... I don't know what to say..." Asta was so surprised and happy in the same time, that he couldn't think of anything to say in response.
"You can check the list in the hallway if you want proof. We're second from Golden Dawn High!" Luck said happily.
"This... is amazing! I can't believe it--" Asta shook.
"You don't need to believe it if you don't want to, but it's legit." Magna smiled.
"Woah... Thanks for the good news!" Asta told them.
"Of course," Magna replied.
Asta ran down the hall towards the projected list on a TV screen in the hallway. It read:
1. Golden Dawn High
2. Black Bulls High
They weren't joking! We really are second place! Asta knew that Novachrono would raise their status even just a little bit... but this is definitely not a little bit! The list completely changed! How did we even get from last to second?!
"Yep, I'm just as surprised as you are." Asta heard Noelle's voice from behind him. He turned around to see Noelle with a cast on her right leg with crutches.
"Noelle! How's your leg?" Asta asked her.
"Fine, thank you." She smiled nervously and her cheeks a bit red.
"I can't believe we got second... I really can't believe it..." Asta's voice trailed off.
"Same... Our reputation really raised that much!" Noelle exclaimed.
"Mhm... I really enjoyed the competition though... regardless of winning or losing. It was really fun. We even learned from it and I got to meet new people who I've never met before... and it's only my first year here." Asta said.
"I agree..." Noelle nodded.
Asta was so happy and he felt like he didn't express it enough. This was better than he imagined. He loves this school... he really does. And he doesn't ever want to leave. He knows he will eventually, but this was the best experience he's ever had. If only this happiness could last for eternity...
