"Aren't you a little young to be living here alone?" The man at the front desk eyed her, the lid to the cup of his coffee was pulled off and the girl watched as the steam floated up into the air. It was crazy to her that someone would drink coffee this late in the evening, but she supposed he could have a late shift. She decided to set that piece of information aside in her brain, she would have to learn his schedule sooner or later.

The girl looked at him holding back an eye roll "My father is coming, he just stopped down the street to take a few pictures."

The man's eyes widened presumingly at her accent, reluctantly he handed her the keys and she had to stop herself from snatching them out of his hands. She stuffed the keys in her pocket grabbing both handles of her suitcases and wheeled them over to the elevator, she lifted her hand to press the button but the man turned around before she could "Elevator is broken, you're going to have to use the stairs."

She raised her eyebrow as if to say are you serious, the man shrugged his shoulders in response. She grabbed her luggage again this time rolling it over to the stairs, she opened the door to the stairwell and looked up to the top, it was going to be a long way up.

The girl got up to the 6th floor at last but not before rapid breathing and sore arms. She grabbed the keys out of her pocket and placed it into the deadbolt, turning it left to unlock it. She pushed open the door and stepped inside into the living room, the room was empty but that was expected since the woman said the furniture would be delivered while she was in school.

She closed the door and locked both locks, she walked around the apartment also taking the time to check all possible exits and entrances. In her room, there was a window leading out to a fire escape. Though it could be good for a quick escape, it was also good for a quick ambush. She would have to have the agency fix that later, though they would probably just laugh in her face and tell her that it's her problem.

The girl sat crisscross in the middle of her living shoving cup noodles into her mouth, it was honestly the best thing she had to eat in months. The food she got in the agency she never truly knew what was in it just that it was good for her. Files were scattered all across the floor as she read over them repeatedly, she knew she had her story down packed to the tiniest little detail but the thought of making the littles of mistake sent chills up her arms.

At the airport, she had exchanged her cargo pants and fitted shirt for a pair of sweatpants and a random graphic t-shirt with a character she had never heard of on it. She shouldn't have wasted the money on it but if it got her out of the same clothes she had to wear every day it was worth it.

She drank the rest of her broth in the styrofoam cup and threw her fork across the room into the sink, it made a satisfying click and she got up, placing the cup inside of a plastic bag. The sun had set hours ago yet the girl stared out the window, looking at the stars instead of trying to fall asleep due to jet lag. An airplane appeared overhead and she watched as it disappeared into the night sky. The girl never liked airports too much, too many people, too many variables she couldn't control, it was a recipe for disaster. She shut the blinds before walking to her new bedroom.

"You'll switch off B and C lunch every two weeks with the year elevens. And here is maths, any more questions?" A girl with long pink braids said. When getting her scheduled, the principal had assigned her a tour guide, even after refusing to need one countless time. The girl's Tour guide's name was Aisha, she tended to go on a ramble when she got distracted and the girl had quickly learn tuned her out.

"No, I'm good." The girl replied monotonously.

If she had noticed the girl's dry reply she didn't let it damper her mood and she smiled brightly at the girl while handing her the schedule back "The school is relatively big, but you'll figure out your way around it soon enough. Here's your timetable back, if you ever need me you know where to find me." Yeah, the girl basically knew her whole schedule now.
