You walk around the large Christmas tree in the middle of the street
Your surrounding was festive. Christmas lights keeps on blinking, kids were laughing as they hold their parents' hands, couples walk around hand in hand, and the choir continuous to sing those Christmas songs
"Nothing's changed much huh." You smile fondly as you touch one of the Christmas balls on the tree. Nostalgia rushes in as you remember all the memories you had with the place

"Isn't it better for me to wear just this dress?" You say to your friend as you twirl in front of the mirror in your room
"It's snowing." She reminds you
"I know!" You roll your eyes, "But think about it! If Chris notices that I'm cold then maybe he's going to give me his jacket!" You almost scream at the thought, feeling giddy about the whole scenario
"Then he's going to be the one cold, and I don't think that would be good for his shoulder."
"Bu-you're right." You sigh, just as the doorbell rings, you and your friend look at each other and let out a squeal before you went to grab your jacket and ran down the stairs of your house to meet Chris
"Hey!" You greet him once you open the door and saw him, holding a bouquet of flower
"Is that a bouquet?" (Best friend's name) shouts from the stairs, "Holy shit that's old fashion but romantic!" She squeals as you turn and glare at her, how was she so sensible earlier but so childish right now?
"You didn't have to." You chuckle, "But thanks anyway," You say before kissing his cheek and excusing yourself to put the flowers in a vase
"How did you end up dating such a guy again?" (Best friend's name) asks, "He's tall, handsome, smart, a gentleman, and can play sports! Girl, you're basically a female lead in some Wattpad book." She hits your arm as you laugh
"I guess I just got lucky." You wink playfully before walking back to Chris
"Shall we go?" He asks as he offered his hand for you to grab
"We should." You nod, holding his hand in yours as you two walk toward the city
"Then he got angry at me! Telling me that it's better for me to stay at the side! Can you believe that?" You huff as Chris shakes his head
"Want me to talk to that guy?" He offers, voice still soft but you can see a flash of anger in his eyes
"No, he isn't worth it." You shake your head and hug his arm, looking up at him and smiling cutely
"If he says anything again then tell me, okay?" He sighs, unable to stay angry whenever he sees you smiling like that, why did you have to be so adorable?
"Yes sir!" You salute playfully before the large Christmas tree catches your eyes
"Look, Chris, let's take a picture over there!" You jump in excitement before pulling him closer to the tree
You smile at the camera but your smile grows bigger when you feet Chris snake his arms around your waist to pull you closer to him before also smiling at the camera
"I'm going to make this my wallpaper." You say happily as Chis watches you, the small fond smile on his face not leaving
"Send it to me." He says as he sneaks a look at your phone
