Caitlyn... Caitlyn... Come on, Cupcake... Caitlyn heard Vi's voice echo, as if from a distance, as she dreamt. But the more times she was jostled and spoken to, perhaps kissed on the forehead once, the more clear the pink-haired fighter's voice became. Eventually, after Vi persisted, she finally started to wake up. She rubbed her eyes and sat up in the bed, trying to grasp at any fragment of consciousness she could. She didn't normally have this much difficulty in the mornings, she must have had a ridiculously good sleep.

After staring at the floor for a few moments, remembering what being awake was like, Caitlyn looked up to see Vi standing over her at the side of the bed. She was wearing Caitlyn's robe, her broad shoulders keeping it fitting tight on her arms and back while the rest of it dangled all the way to the floor; it was far from a perfect fit. But she didn't want to go rifling through Cait's closet and she needed to be covered up somehow, although she knew her nakedness would probably be quite a 'good morning' for her darling.

She did, however, think of a nice way to wake the girl up. After Caitlyn sat up, pulling the sheets with her so she didn't expose her chest, Vi grabbed a tray she had set on the dresser and set it in Cait's lap.

Caitlyn looked at it for a moment, studying the contents. The tray had a scone and some eggs with a tea to the side, and of course a fork. "Have..." Caitlyn started, somewhat in awe, "Have you made me breakfast?" She asked. Her eyes met Vi's with love and amazement. She had never expected such a thing.

"Well, kind of," Vi replied, "Remember I haven't cooked anything since I was 12. I went downstairs and your dad was making himself some, so I asked if he'd mind making extra." Vi was very concerned about this. Caitlyn's father reacted nicely but she didn't know what was good and bad to do up here. She was a little nervous going downstairs by herself in the first place, not to mention talking solo to her girlfriend's dad. Half of her was expecting Caitlyn to shout for doing something so improper.

But no such thing happened. If anything, Caitlyn almost seemed happy Vi had the gumption to go down and do it. To her, it meant Vi was feeling more comfortable up here. So she grabbed the robe Vi was wearing and pulled her in by it, giving her a long kiss over her breakfast. A kiss as if to say "I'm proud of you". Caitlyn found herself still smiling after they had pulled away from each other, she was still a little surprised by the whole situation but was so happy that she got to wake up next to her Vi. Or in today's instance, waking up because of her.

Vi walked to the other side of the bed and sat down next to Cait as the girl started to eat. A part of her wanted to make Caitlyn cupcakes, and she knew she would at some point, but she didn't know how to bake and it did seem early in the day for such a treat. Maybe that's how she would spend her day the next time Cait had to spend an afternoon as an enforcer, she could learn how to bake.

"My robe seems a little tight on you," Caitlyn told Vi as she finished chewing a bite of eggs. Vi could feel her mobility being limited by the robe, she was scared to move her arms too much because she knew the back might split in half.

"Yeah, a little slim I guess," she responded while studying the garment. It had Caitlyn's family crest over the heart, Vi hadn't noticed that before.

"Maybe we need to get you some more clothes then. Some new ones," Caitlyn proposed. A shopping day with Vi seemed like a heap of fun, and they could have a small lunch date too while being out on the town. She knew getting nice clothes for Vi might be a bit tricky but it was a challenge she was up for.

Vi looked out the window, the sun beaming in over the great City of Progress. She looked at all the tall buildings and the shiny windows, she knew this would be weird. Just walking around Topside as a regular citizen, getting Topside clothes, this was odd. But she knew Cait was right, she couldn't wander around in the same outfit and just wash it every two days, and she couldn't wear the very few clothes that fit on her from Caitlyn's closet. So she agreed, she tried to be excited but had a hint of hesitation in her voice and Caitlyn took note.
