I see more zombies start to run towards them but I quickly shoot a big ball of electricity at the ground, creating large shockwaves that take out most of the zombies.
I fly down towards the girls and we all share high fives. "I didn't know you were that powerful?" Gina jokes.
"I didn't know either, guess almost dying had its effect" I smile. The boys make their way up to us amazed. "That was like the scene in Endgame times 10!" Bruce laughs, making us laugh as well.
"What about the gem?" Mal asks.
"Whoa" Jean points ahead of us, and we all look at something we totally forgot was happening.
I was doing surprisingly well for this fight, I was able to hold my own against them and I'm pretty sure I'm winning, and it's one against two.
To be honest, I couldn't believe was I was doing, usually, it was just tackling and throwing punches for me, that other major fight at school was a total accident, but now that I know I can do this on purpose, who knew I was this good! Not to be cocky.
Mom and Todd both leap down from the sky and try to strike me down, but I'm able to hold it off. But they slowly put more force into it, forcing me on one knee, and my hands start shaking. I see smiles sneak on their faces, but I just tilt my head.

I knew I needed some way to stop this, fortunately, I know how. I take one arm away, making my own smirk. I quickly let out a strong punch, blowing them away with a flash of gold energy.
When they get back up, I take one hand and twist it slowly, gold vapor in my hand becoming denser. I suspend both of them in the air, hearing them scream and grunt. I take my other glowing hand and wave my fingers, slowly peeling off their outfits and slowly tearing them apart.

Thought suspended, my mom's body starts to glow a cosmic purple. Suddenly, she lets out a wave of energy that knocks me back. I roll across the street and land near my friends.
"You okay?" Gina ask. EJ grabs my hand and helps me up. "I'm good, were you guys just standing there?" I ask as Nini puts my mask back on my face. Not that I didn't like t, but finally, I feel the gold energy in my pupils disappear, I guess I got most of my rage out.
"Yeah, you were pretty cool out there, you could've taken them out," Sadia tells me. Well, that was kinda the plan. I look to see my mom and Todd are missing. They must've snuck away, that's bad, but I was having fun
"Guys, it's me!" Dennis says. "I'm watching the camera, show me what happened with the stone."
"Wait, what happened with the stone?" I ask, I was so caught up with my mom and Todd that I totally ignored the conversations on our earpieces. Mal hands EJ the stone and he shows me what happens. Orange mist starts to emerge from the stone and sink under EJ's skin. "How much power do you have?" I ask him.
"EJ, you're absorbing the stone's energy," Dennis says.
"How can he do that?" Nini asks.
"I don't know, apparently, EJ can absorb various forms of energy, while removing it from the source, into his body and use it in various ways."
"Wait, are those fear toxins a form of energy?" EJ asks, looking at the machine that was a good distance away from us. "Yeah, why?"
"We can't destroy the Stone. But we can drain its power! If we destroy it, I...can absorb the fear toxins and the stone's energy, Gina can portal into space and I should be able to just...remove it" EJ wonders aloud.
"I would have to break your protection spell," Lily says.
"No! EJ, you can't!" Dennis says. "You may be able to, but your body might not be able to withstand that amount of fear toxin or that energy. It could kill you."
"That's a risk I have to take," EJ says, he was about to walk off, but I quickly grabbed his arm. "No, you are not killing yourself for this" I won't let this happen. I already lost my dad, I lost my mom to Todd a long time ago, I almost lost Nini, what if this one was fatal, what if I actually did lose EJ? The one person who gave me a home when I was alone?
"What else we do?"
"Stick to the original plan: we get all the toxins into one space and Gina's portals it into deep space, we'll just throw them stone in too, you're not killing yourself," I tell him seriously. He's not gonna kill himself, even if it might save the city, there's a safer way to do it when we all get out alive and we're doing it that way.
Before he could disagree, Todd's voice starts to echo.
Okay, my favorite part about writing this story has to be Ricky's fight with his mom, no questions asked. I'm sorry but I'm not gonna be posting until Monday, I'm going to my best friend's place for the weekend to celebrate his birthday, so I'm gonna be away from my computer, but I can tell you what to expect. Ricky's gonna have a little confrontation with his mom and Todd, and for EJ...well...I'll just wait, but I can tell you...I might finally be able to make you cry.
