Bakugo was in a state of constant rage.

Some would say that this was the exact definition of his mood on a daily basis throughout all his life, but this...this was different. It was all internal. He said nothing. He didn't yell, he didn't scream, he didn't snap at anyone—just nothing.

Bakugo would just walk around with this scowl on his face, as if something was seething inside him. And something was, yet at the same time, there were so many things fueling the coiling dragon in his heart that he wasn't sure what was causing it at all.

Losing some of his classmates? He didn't care about them that much, but...maybe. The gnawing feeling of losing the battle? They were clearly overpowered, so yeah, the realization did hurt him. The terror of what Shigaraki has done to Japan in a short few days? For sure, yet it didn't trigger him. His family he might've lost? Definitely, but...that wasn't it.

That wasn't what was angering him. It was something else, and he couldn't even say what it was. Or maybe it was everything, but it was so mixed up, he just didn't know. Bakugo couldn't understand the feeling. And it frustrated him even more.

"Bakugo?" Kirishima called out from behind him. Bakugo glanced at him coldly before turning back towards his microwaving food. This is exactly why he hated going out of his dorm as of late. His classmates and teachers would keep trying to bug him, keep trying to hug each other, acting as if it was 'support'. Fuck that shit. He didn't need it.

Kirishima noticed the insinuation behind the expression, but he remained unfazed. Externally solely, of course. The rejection pained him more than he'd like to admit.

"They're performing a memorial service for those who...who hadn't come back." Kirishima felt his breath hitch, but he knew he wasn't going to burst into tears in front of Bakugo. At the very least, he wouldn't burden the blond with that. "You should attend. At the very least to pay respect to those who lost their–"

"I get it, I'll go. I don't fucking need to be convinced to attend it." Bakugo snarled shortly. Kirishima's eyes widened slightly, and he expected something else, but...the blond remained silent. He didn't even turn towards Kirishima, tell him to go away now that he had a response, and Kirishima felt...well, he felt perplexed, to say the least. Should he be trying to help Bakugo? Bakugo didn't seem like the type that'd cope by saying what he felt, but...who knows? Maybe he could try?

Kirishima didn't. He turned around and walked out of the room, knowing all too well it wouldn't work.

Everyone had an aura of pain, sorrow, guilt, agony, all the negative feelings bottled up around them which there was no escape from. He wouldn't try to handle Bakugo's problems.

None of them could even handle their own.

Days passed, and despite the hope and daily anticipation, no one came to the survivors' rescue.

Ochako and Aimoto had regrouped with the people Aimoto was with prior to staying with Ochako, and surprisingly, they welcomed her with open arms.

There were two kids, one woman, and three men including Aimoto in the group. Ochako had managed to get along with all of them, and although it took them a while to understand that although Ochako was a hero (in training, may she add) she couldn't do much in this situation, they eventually managed to accept her and stop questioning her.
