Still Grace's P.O.V.

I buckled up, ready and waiting for the plane to take off, I scanned the people also sitting in first class, they were all wearing suits and had briefcases, they all looked extremely snobbish, I smirked to myself as I was the only one in this part of the plane in jeans, but I didn't care, I like me for being me.

I unwrapped the complimentary headphones and plugged them into the TV screen to see what films they were showing, nothing of any interest, I took off my headphones, and looked around, the plane was beginning to fill up, I kept getting the odd, sarcastic glances from the snobs, they were looking at me as if I didn't belong in this part of the plane, I just smiled at them sweetly, I think it made them realise that you don't have to be a rich person to fly in comfort!

There was still 20 minutes left until the plane took off, I brought out my kindle once again and began to read, reading seemed to make everything go faster.

It made me jump when the captain of the plane began to speak through the microphone, the 20 minutes had already past and the plane was due to take off.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking, you are on flight 77 at terminal 29, this plane is flying to California non stop, we will be landing there in approximately eleven and a half hours, in the mean time I expect our air hostess' will be providing you with lots of refreshments, I ask all passengers on this plane to fasten their seat belts as we are about to start the engines and take off, I wish you all a safe and comfortable journey."

My heart began to beat hard and fast as I heard the engines fire up, slowly but surely we began to race down the runway, accelerating with every second, faster and faster, then finally, we began to lift off the ground and climb into the night sky, it made my stomach feel all weird, after a few minutes I relaxed and slumped back into the comfortable seat, I turned my head and looked out the window, I saw street lights and house lights far down below, it looked like orange glitter had been spilt on black paper, I caught my reflection in the window, I was smiling...

I was on my way, to California...

To Michael.
